Thanks Ben for the video. I just purchased a steering wheel for my 1990 (Canadian non airbag). I'm a little confused by all the different info regarding the choices of hub adapters. I would appreciate any info that you could pass my way on different models that can be used. Thanks in advance for any help
Hi Ben, firstly thank you for the very informative video, I've been searching forever for just this video - with the first generation steering wheel removal. Can you tell me, what size is the Momo wheel you've installed? 330mm? I'm looking at the Nardi Deep Corn 330mm myself and, like your last point in the video, want to make sure I have an unobstructed view of my gauges! Thanks in advance.
I bought that same cheap ass steering wheel and installed it in my ford ranger. The foam pvc material has already started rubbing off and its very flimsy, feels like it might break in mid-turn.
Better late than never, answer is no. The wheel sits permanently at the factory height and you can't lift it nor lower it. I've found out that the only thing one can do is either lower seating (foamectomy or changing seats to lower buckets with side mounts) or mount a smaller wheel (not optimal with no powersteering).

It's 350mm ... Any smaller would interfere with the speedometer and tach View... That is if you're roughly the same height as me.
got a link to that hub? is it on ebay?
