Bryan Ahola Amazing for sure; especially doing it in New York. I’ve always appreciated the nod DMB has given to Beastie Boys over the years. I’m sure you’ve seen this but here’s their tribute to MCA after his passing: ruclips.net/video/h4xwXEV6Dx0/видео.html
Been going to SPAC every year 10 years now and this song has been played like the past 4 years in a row I think. I love it it’s like a staple for SPAC hope he keeps it up next year always love to hear it!
Trey Johnson .......what the hell does that mean? You don’t sing but you make songs..... and you decided to share that in the comment section of a Dave Matthews song? Why?
Alex Gordon Probably because that’s literally what Carter says at the beginning 💁🏽♂️ and he doesn’t sing but he’s the drummer and he does make the songs 😂
@@dariusgjoy As to quality, yes. As to personnel, it's a matter of fact. I happen to believe these two things are inextricably linked. Love DMB, but loss of strings changed the DMB sound completely. If you like that new sound, good for you. Take care.
Jason Thom only band in history to debut 7 albums in a row at number 1. Tied with artists like led zepplin and Elton John for most albums at number 1. Their most recent album was the highest debuting rock album in years and set other records for ticket sales and revenue. I think they’re doing fine :)
The juice, the energy, the drive. What a great version of this mostly overlooked song. Love it.
I wish we had more Carter lyrics. This song is downright magical.
wow! No kidding.. never heard Carter like this before. He sounds amazing! LOL
If you’re interested where Carter’s lyrics come from here it’s a few lines from the Beastie Boys “Slow and Low.” The second verse, to be exact.
Same
so glad this song is making a comeback
3 videos in 3 days it’s like a dream came true
For anyone interested in Carter’s lyrics, he’s rapping a few lines from the Beastie Boys “Slow and Low.” The second verse, to be exact.
That is AMAZING.. I always wondered what he was rapping. Made my night.. TYTY! 8)

The way Dave smiles at Cater, I hope you all find someone like that
That might be the best version of minarets I've heard

Never saw this live maybe one day...
Absolutely incredible piece by an absolutely incredible band.
From 4:47-5:00 mark, Carter should be featured in this video. Love Dave but I need to see other band members when they are really putting in work .

Love the constant uploads. Its been awesome!
I miss Boyd, but THAT WAS AWESOME.
Best right hand in the biz🤘

4 days until.....
Up two you..
looking tuba looking glass without something
They running out of space on that stage
This band is a shell of its former self. Losing LeRoi was the first blow, Losing Boyd was the nail in the coffin.
Matter of opinion friend....take care

@@grenademaster8981 clearly the personnel changed....but once again it is all opinion....take carr
Losing Boyd was actually good for the band. He was NOT a good musician and that was a well known fact.
@@dariusgjoy Some opinions are more founded though. DMB is washed up. Take care.
Dave needs to give it up already

Good point.
False. There are but a handful of bands left that perform live at the level they do.
He gives it up every time they perform. And for this we are blessed.
I'm with you, DMB is there if you need a fix, but this band is a shell of its former self.
