The grey sectional with the grey curtains is my #1. Then the last one where they separated the space to include the little reading nook is second. The light fixtures across the board are AMAZING. And the wall art/shelving piece above the tv in the final space was so different. This was such a great idea.
As an Interior design student, I'd like to tell you it takes a lot of effort to create 3d renders, designers we use specialized softwares to create, model and render these images the materials are studied from how they react to light and their textures, so basically this is how we make it ^^
I used Havenly’s design services for my living room. They had a sale after thanksgiving $89 for one room. We had some emails, a call or two to chat, and texts. She did a phenomenal job and really got me. You can buy the items from their site and honestly, she does get a cut from that or you can shop elsewhere if you choose. She respected my budget which, as I was furnishing a whole house, was smaller than I would have liked but my living room is gorgeous. Highly recommend.
Everyone offered really amazing design ideas! However, I think not giving the designers any style preference or at least some favorable colors was a mistake. Rather than critiquing their skill in terms of color and furniture choice, style coherency or positioning, you just talk about the quality of the rendering and if you like the general style. Aspects like TV placement, the black wall structure not being renter friendly or the dining area would not have been a problem if you gave some guidelines beforehand. If someone actually used a design service like this, I think understanding the clients vision and style is so much more important than the quality of the rendering.
I think he had a wider purpose and Intent for using them being they way he propositioned them. 1. That giving them a job to do- he’s literally hiring them 2. He shouting them out on his video which can lead to more traffic and work for them. 3. He was looking for an overall inspiration to add to his brain-storm of his own ideas
Thank you for sharing this!! I have wanted a designer to help me with my spaces, but was scared of cost and how much they’d expect me to commit to their design. Shelling out a hundred bucks or so is totally worth it.
The only thing is that hiring a interior designer does not necessarily cost "thousands and thousands and thousands" of dollars at all. I actually hired one for my office and it only cost me 375$, for a decorating budget of 1000$. It was super decent and she did some beautiful work.
WHAT you’re telling me I can give someone $10 to make me a mood board?! I am so design stunted I can’t even get myself to do that. This is going to be a game changer
Me too, especially that this render was really decent, with realistic lightning, shadows and textures, and the object were not floating over the floor.
Sometimes people really don’t have a clue about what colors or styles they want or even prefer for a particular room. It’s nice to see what others can “come up with.” May even be something that you love but would have never thought of…….
i just finished my technical design studies. basicly, u either make or import already made furniture buildings etc. u put on textures and lighting and add a camera to the scene. its like. so cool bcz u can literally make everything depending on how much time u put into it
It's very interesting to see different styles of one room. I like them all although my favourite would be the $ 100 version, it looks warm and cozy without being overwhelming or sparse. Thank you for doing this, I'm looking forward to see what you are opting for and how it'll look when it's done :D
Yes budgeting is one important thing but also relation between the customer and the int designer is also greatly impacted. The more you looking for, the more the prices goes up.
As a educated and practicing Interior Architect and Designer I am so glad you did this video. I do mostly commerical, retail, and residential. I had to learn every single program out there (my university is top ranked and very very thorough) and it is not for the weak! Love doing renderings. Maybe I'll create a fiverr! If anyone wants me website or instagram for reference let me know :)
They have TV mounts that can shift downwards for situations like yours. My family has really high ceilings and to center their TV perfectly, they got a swivel mount that adjusts in all directions. When we'd have company over we'd recenter it parallel to the wall to look neat.
WOW I am so amazed at the details, like the fireplace flames and the light reflection!!! I love the third and fourth one so much. The last one is so creative. Can’t wait to see what you end up doing with your living room!!! ❤️❤️
I love this video! Being a professional interior designer it was so interesting to see what you thought of all these and how everyone's reacting to them. I definitely would recommend most people to hire a designer to put together a moodboard like option #1 with an addition of a 2d floorplan. The combination of those two things should give you a lot to go off on.

Drew, in response to your question around 3min mark, Im into interior design myself and use a website called roomstyler in which you do a floor plan and it renders it into a 3d image and you can change the little camera (angles of the room), take HD pictures from it to save. That's what I've used recently to get an understanding of how I wanted my room layout to be and how I wanted it to look 😁
This is such a great way to show even those of us who are really not tech savvy just what can be done on a computer. I am 76 years old and am still looking for the on and off button. But I love interior design and have watched several of your videos. Thank you for the great variety you provide.
Every design was sooo good! 👏🏼 Loooove that this opens up the option to so many people to get an affordable option for getting help with their interior designing! 💖
Great video as always! One thing I would like to bring awareness to in terms of use of Fiverr is that a lot of people don't understand the reason prices are so affordable is because a lot of the work is outsourced so an individual for instance in India can afford to offer the same scope of work as someone in the US for significantly cheaper due to lowered cost of living. I understand not everyone has thousands of dollars to drop on design so services like these can be very useful but I do think it's important that individuals are aware that long term this can really affect designers. (With that being said a lot of people are trying to price themselves more reasonably on Fiverr so they can still make an income so I mainly note this so you guys can help support some designers on there that may not be charging the cheapest but are still giving you a great deal in the larger comparison.)
I totally agree with this comment. As a design professional located in Australia there is no way I could/would produce something like that for such low cost. I hate to say, but in a way this downgrades the professionalism of interior design and architecture if people think it is only worth $10 or $100. We don’t train for years to work for $3 per hour in the western world. They produced some beautiful work, but ultimately you get what you pay for. Hiring a local professional they will measure the space in detail, find products that are available locally to you and draw them into the space at the exact scale. Invariably there will be modifications made over time = more hours of work. But you would then also be able to see the room from multiple viewpoints and could make changes here and there as required. But to a designer time is money and in fairness a full professional job is worth more than that. But props to all the designers for their work and presentations.
Love the brand integration in this one! Interesting to see the process. Your channel became my happy pill - so chill! Greetings from the Philippines 🇵🇭
I would love to see this type of video giving all the designers some guide lines such as "I need a design that is renter friendly, X design style and X color palette " to see what they come up with.
Love how positive you are. For the last one, loved the thinking outside the box. You could replicate the beams with painted styrofoam or just use hollow “beams”. Totally doable for a rental, especially the styrofoam option since it would stick easily.
You could do the beams, they make them out of foam, are incredibly realistic and can match a wood finish, black washed wood would like nice with the dark wall you are incorporating, liked the black fireplace too.
I don't think it is a dining table in last pic, although you could eat there, more of a game table/study/work space in the living room. Definitely cool to see these different ideas!
The last iteration was perhaps the most versatile. Inside that black chase/frame going up the walls and across the ceiling you could hang curtain material to close that space off a bit, for an over night guest. Either a full pull across curtain or one that pulls 1/2-2/3 of the way across for the illusion of some pricvacy. And that corner chair could one of those that flips to a single bed! Certainly not for your parents and absolutely not for your elderly grandmother!!! But for a friend who is a young buck--- it shouldn't be a issue, getting off, on, the floor! The corner table is a games table, but you could use it bang those pesky emails from work, out, at last! What a relief it is to finally bang them, all. No? This brings memories to my mind, when I was in my early twenties! Trying to make sure everyone, everything was banged. Daily. Sometimes in the weekends, too. I was so exhausted but everyone got what they wanted. Or was looking for. In the end! So #3 is absolutely great. But so are all of the others! Dont forget to bang them to just say thanks for their work even if is what they do for money. Ciao!!!
I also liked that last one the most. But I would do the sofa / arm chairs setting from the 100 dollar option, cause that is the only way one can sit and face both oposite walls (tv and fireplace). A sofa not facing a fireplace (like not even a little bit) feels wrong to me, even if the fireplace is never used.
I like all the vignettes from the first designer, but I'm not sure they understood your room layout. Also, it was a lil busy. I love the ceiling detail in the second designer's pic. The gallery wall, throw blanket, area rug, coffee table & unlit logs stacked in the fireplace are my fave elements from the third designer. I'd keep the plants & candles from the fourth designer. The shelving & TV placement plus the bold black paint to delineate the space from the fifth designer are cool. Now, if I threw all those elements together, would it end up gorgeous & functional? Don't know. That's why I'm not a designer, LOL! I can't wait to see what you come up with that suits you!
I didn't think of this as an option for my struggles in decorating the space. Thanks for this video, you've saved me! BTW, I loved what the first ($10) designer did for the money vs the others. But that's just my opinion. 🤗
All of them were unique and creative. 💕 I can’t wait to see what you come up with though. You are quite talented yourself, Drew. Congratulations on reaching 800K! Wishing you all good things for your future!

This was divine intervention! I'm racking my brain how I'm supposed to learn all the stuff needed for my business(I'm a grandma and as tech savvy as a chimp) and you popped up with this fiver recommendation! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Already reached out to some pros.
Wow what a fresh concept of video. Also I was curious about the music in your videos. I like it so much, no doubt it's custom that's why it stands out and fit your videos perfectly. 😍
I have watched a variety of youtubers make these Fiver videos and almost always the $100 versions in all of them are usually the best ones. It's so funny. That is def the best price point and is always so worth the money. The more expensive ones are almost always never that much better or really worth it. Personally, the $100 version in this video is the best. You can still have the tv on the other wall. Its a mix of masculine and cozy. It leaves room for a dope rug and even painting the fire place a dark color. I really like that. The $10 version was a good deal for someone who may not know how to design with color in mind. It would be interesting to see a bunch of lower cost versions (boards) to see what people come up with. In terms of designing spaces I use "Home Design 3D" in Steam (my brother got it for me so I am not sure the cost) I love to do them on my free time to unwind lol. It's my video game lol. Any way. Great video :)
I think you got the most bang for your buck from the $10 one. The others were great but I don’t know how practical when you are dealing with a rental. This was really fun to watch! I would like to have seen a source list .... where do you buy the rugs, furniture, accessories etc? Price points? Very educational though! As always excellent content! ❤️

IKR? This video just made me angry because why are these people selling hard work for the lowest prices ever. And you need to spend money on a good computer to get the renders done.
A great idea to show what ideas can be purchased at different ( low) prices. Each design was beautiful, giving off different "vibes" ( as you would say). There was a style for everyone.
I’m constantly amazed by your creative video ideas and DIYs! This is something that is SO accessible for a lot of people! I know I’ve been so curious about havenly it would be so cool to see a part 2! You are awesome!
I enjoyed this very much. The most expensive option had the fireplace behind the couch, which I absolutely would never do! A fireplace is such a special touch of ambiance and is so enjoyable! I certainly wouldn’t poke it behind everything!
12:32 You can make that pillar fairly easily by putting some thin plywood together, and then paint it black. It's basically just three boxes put together.
I really liked this video...I have to say, all designers brought it, the price didn't seem to limit creativity on their part. Can't wait to see what you come up yet.

So fun to see all these! I have somewhat high ceilings, with my TV up on top of an armoire. It is actually very comfortable position, especially when I'm reclined. I will forever keep my TV up high now!
The boho was definitely for affect. One in a million clients would even consider it. Maybe if 75% of the stuff were subtracted, it'd be more livable, although not as fun.

The grey sectional with the grey curtains is my #1. Then the last one where they separated the space to include the little reading nook is second. The light fixtures across the board are AMAZING. And the wall art/shelving piece above the tv in the final space was so different. This was such a great idea.
How come this man doesn’t have 12 million subscribers? The world is missing out
Agree! He's sooo underrated too bad:(
Liana Herlina that’s true
We should work on it. Let's share his videos to friends so that his channel grows.
Clinomaniac's Art that’s a great idea
Hed be fantastic on Network TV
1. That giving them a job to do- he’s literally hiring them
2. He shouting them out on his video which can lead to more traffic and work for them.
3. He was looking for an overall inspiration to add to his brain-storm of his own ideas
I think you are absolutely correct. How can a designer create a space without any guidelines?
This is trippy 😭 how many Pinterest pics are just 3D renderings
Right!!
OmG.. so true!!
I worked in furniture. Most things you're looking at are renderings. Ikea too. Even some scenes in nature documentaries
@@GadgetsGearCoffee mind blown!
Whoaaa trippy
Thank you for sharing this!! I have wanted a designer to help me with my spaces, but was scared of cost and how much they’d expect me to commit to their design. Shelling out a hundred bucks or so is totally worth it.
I’m a fan of the $10.00 boho look I know you’re capable of designing your own living space and get why you’ve done this. Good on you young man!❤️
The only thing is that hiring a interior designer does not necessarily cost "thousands and thousands and thousands" of dollars at all.
This was so fun to watch and see the ideas. I love 180$ that black sofa and moody ness. Wow
Hi Emily how are you
I love the $180 too that was my favorite.
Yess, me too 😍
Me too, especially that this render was really decent, with realistic lightning, shadows and textures, and the object were not floating over the floor.
Why didn’t you give any indication ? I think it would have been interesting to see their interpretation.
Can’t wait to see your own design xo
ruclips.net/video/0EwkNSmk3PY/видео.html
Exactly. It would have been fun to compare the designers interpretation of his preferences.
You should totally create a Fiverr :)
Did you ever create one? Would love to hire you on fiverr to see what I can do with my space!
ruclips.net/video/0EwkNSmk3PY/видео.html
I love this video! Being a professional interior designer it was so interesting to see what you thought of all these and how everyone's reacting to them. I definitely would recommend most people to hire a designer to put together a moodboard like option #1 with an addition of a 2d floorplan. The combination of those two things should give you a lot to go off on.
I haven’t even watched this yet, but I wanted to tell you I’m 65 and love your channel! Thanks for inspiring me! I can’t see how you have the patience to do some of the macrame you do! Lol! 💕💫
58 here and I love Drews channel and MaCenna's too.
JMK Who’s MaCenna? I may already be subscribed, because I’m subscribed to everything! Lol!
@@Tinyteacher1111 - Her channel is called XO Macenna. She is a friend of Lone Fox and does fabulous D.I.Y interiors and lots of crafts. If you like Drew you will love her content and her incredibly cute dog Kinsley.
Drew moved near to her. They are practically neighbours now.
ruclips.net/video/0EwkNSmk3PY/видео.html
Drew, in response to your question around 3min mark, Im into interior design myself and use a website called roomstyler in which you do a floor plan and it renders it into a 3d image and you can change the little camera (angles of the room), take HD pictures from it to save. That's what I've used recently to get an understanding of how I wanted my room layout to be and how I wanted it to look 😁
You know I love that you’re supporting small businesses during this time!
This is such a great way to show even those of us who are really not tech savvy just what can be done on a computer. I am 76 years old and am still looking for the on and off button. But I love interior design and have watched several of your videos. Thank you for the great variety you provide.

I love it too!
The first one is literally all Pinterest posts when you type in boho living room...
I love the third one!!
Ciao!!!
I really liked the dark sectional option. But they all were stunning. I may just try this out!
I loved that one too!
I also liked that last one the most. But I would do the sofa / arm chairs setting from the 100 dollar option, cause that is the only way one can sit and face both oposite walls (tv and fireplace). A sofa not facing a fireplace (like not even a little bit) feels wrong to me, even if the fireplace is never used.
ruclips.net/video/0EwkNSmk3PY/видео.html
ruclips.net/video/0EwkNSmk3PY/видео.html
I adore the idea of that library seating in the most expensive one and all the cute boho stuff of the $10 one!
All of them were unique and creative. 💕 I can’t wait to see what you come up with though. You are quite talented yourself, Drew. Congratulations on reaching 800K! Wishing you all good things for your future!
This is by far my favorite fiver comparison video yet! It was a lot of fun to watch, and I loved hearing your perspective! I was blown away by the mid-range options you showed. What a great idea for getting new ideas without the cost of hiring an interior designer! I’d love to see more videos like this!
I can't imagine how much James spent on his interior designers. They are definitely worth it when you own your place and want it to all look cohesive. Congrats on 800k.
ruclips.net/video/0EwkNSmk3PY/видео.html
This was divine intervention! I'm racking my brain how I'm supposed to learn all the stuff needed for my business(I'm a grandma and as tech savvy as a chimp) and you popped up with this fiver recommendation! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Already reached out to some pros.
All were good designs. That last $300 dollar design with table in living room could be to bring back game tables into living spaces.
You don't need to put $ & dollar as they both mean the same.
Nutty Insomniac -Yes, you are right. ;)
Or great for a one room studio.
Love all the different options! How wonderful that no one had to come into your home to provide the many interior designs.
Wow what a fresh concept of video. Also I was curious about the music in your videos. I like it so much, no doubt it's custom that's why it stands out and fit your videos perfectly. 😍
Thank you so much! I thought it was a fun little change :)
The fourth rendering of your living room was simply stunning. Most impressive.
The most inviting.
The mood board was my favorite, such a neat idea. I’m sure you can incorporate some ideas from each designer 👍🏼
ruclips.net/video/0EwkNSmk3PY/видео.html
I think they were great in terms of giving a color palette / design aesthetic.
Drewwwww you've knocked it out of the park with this particular video idea! Truly, I haven't seen a concept like this before. This goes to show how innovative and true to your craft you are. God bless you!
As an interior designer, I can only say one thing, everything you see in each render is the result of a lot of hours of work. 😌
IKR? This video just made me angry because why are these people selling hard work for the lowest prices ever. And you need to spend money on a good computer to get the renders done.
@@smji5269 People need to eat, and unless you have a big company or fame backing you it's hard to ask for high prices.
@@Hlynb93 there's a difference between low prices and literally 5 dollars.
@@smji5269 We all gotta start somewhere, and they might just be doing it to get extra change rather than a full-on income
This is such a passive aggressive comment lol
A great idea to show what ideas can be purchased at different ( low) prices. Each design was beautiful, giving off different "vibes" ( as you would say). There was a style for everyone.
*this was so good my internet even decided to let me watch*

@@iseehowitisxDDD facts. Everybody thinks they are a designer these days. And this isn’t even interior design. 😉
@@cgurl tell me about it haha.
It is weird that to first one looks more like your style and yet the dark colors of the last one fits too.
Omg! Totally agree 🥰
8:53 wow, they really added how the light would hit on all angles. Truly insane work
A couple of the more expensive ones looked they were where people’s parents lived in 80s teen movies. The cheapest one was the best by far.
I really liked this video...I have to say, all designers brought it, the price didn't seem to limit creativity on their part. Can't wait to see what you come up yet.
