I'm not one to like physical exercise very much, but this looks quite enjoyable. Taking care of horses and riding them must keep you in great shape. And with this horse's demeanor and personality? - what a pleasure it must be!

OMG! you rode your horse on tarmac..... Well I once saw a horse in a picture book and therefore have expert knowledge that if you ride a horse on tarmac it will instantly explode. Hi S T lovely of you to write to us. Not scary at all as Apollo has excellent brakes (even though he is only in a snaffle) so if there was a branch in our way which is often the case, he does stop when asked.
oh oh he is holding himself so perfectly without panic there are no other horses, he is so comfortable with you, and picks his way over the first two obstacles like a champ, such fun, i hope you are relaxed and enjoying the ride, you have worked hard to make a wonderful attentive horse, so impressed..;)

Tara Unfortunately, I am not in the UK, I live is the US. Sorry, I should have made that clearer. I saw all the footpaths and bridleways when I was in the UK in April and it made me want to stay and explore them!
