Humans are equally curious about things they are unfamiliar with. The horse was an unusual sight for the cows, so they found themselves observing him. The same would happen if we saw something we had never really seen before, except we have generally learned that it is rude to stare XD

Actually she behaved and moved almost exactly like this when she first saw bulls that were next door on a farm we were staying at.

I love cows they spend most of their time being fascinated and terrified of new things constantly. They can never ignore anything though, they have to investigate and and scare themselves half to death doing it. Lol
I think he's getting a kick out of making the cows move every time he prances towards them. Horses are all about hierarchy - and he's definitely feeling like he's on top because he can make them move. By the way, he is a magnificent horse, I love the way *he* moves! 😍

I used to have many horses since I was 11 years old starting with a Shetland pony and working my way up at the end to a thoroughbred ex-racehorse LOL I miss not having my horses anymore. That's why it's always a pleasure to watch videos like you posted here I would love to be around a Friesian horse and really see the beauty in person

Fair enough if you've never actually seen a full-sized horse, I suppose (assuming that the cows where you live aren't freakishly tall). Maybe it's weird that apart from foals, donkeys and ponies I've never seen a small horse.

Somehow I feel that all animals are beautiful in one way or another. The horse is truly stunningly beautiful but the cows reactions is also beautiful. Animals are sentient beings. My heart sings when I see animals being treated with kindness love and respect. This video is adorable.

Beautiful animal! Cows are a hoot! We used to burn our trash every evening when we lived out in the country. The cows would come over, line up just like that, to watch us. You could see all these pairs of eyes glowing in the light of the fire. They are very curious animals.

It is the cutest thing, the way the vows are all lined up to look at their new neighbour. This Friesian horse is so tall and towers over the cows, as he pranced toward them, they all moved . I think the cows realized they were safe with their neighbour. Beautiful horse for sure !
