Olympics talents: Ashaiman and Tema Technical dominated in the GATISA Super Zonal Athletics

The Greater Accra Technical Institute Sports Association (GATISA) recently hosted a thrilling Super Zonal Games, showcasing the talents of students from various schools across the region. The event featured seven disciplines, including athletics, badminton, basketball, football, handball, table tennis, and volleyball, with several schools emerging victorious in their respective categories.
The games took place from Tuesday, August 6, 2024, to Friday, August 9, 2024, at the El Wak Sports Stadium.
Ashaiman Technical Institute excelled in the girls' athletics division, securing four gold medals, one silver medal, and two bronze medals. Similarly, Tema Technical Institute dominated the boys' division, winning four gold medals, five silver medals, and one bronze medal.
Athletics Girls
1st. Ashaiman Technical Institue: 4 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze
2nd. Ada Technical Institute: 3 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze
3rd. Bedeku Technical Institution: 2 gold and 1 bronze
Athletics Boys
1st. Tema Technical Institue: 4 gold, 5 silver, and 1 bronze
2nd. Ada Technical Institue: 2 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze
3rd. Accra Technical Training Centre: 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze
