On tip #14, the desert is not fair game! On Sandy's birthday, Sandy and Emily walk around the desert and will destroy anything in their paths.
Anything ?
@@thompson8354 pretty much anything useful, any that aren't decoration items. Kegs, chests and crystalariums gone
That's hilarious. I only do that when my birthday is ruined 😤🤣
@Azza Delta the desert is only fair game for trees, I've never seen anyone use it for anything except trees
@@NoOneImportant777 I agree trees are the most useful to me, for them to grow in any season, but i've seen a lot of people using it for other profitable artisan stuff
honestly watching stardew youtubers “spoiled” more things for me than reading the wiki did
Seriously. Plus, the fact that "maybe try to avoid spoilers" was mentioned at the end of a list talking about some pretty late-game mechanics had me shaking my head.
skill issue
@@ghostflxwer context. some jokes don’t work sometimes and that’s okay, just need better ones. diversify your portfolio
@@sunshowers3838 my assumption is always that there will be spoilers. not a whole lot of gamers will play a game and not expect people to understand that there will probably be spoilers
You should expect spoilers.
I didn't necessarily put down a bomb on my farm by accident, but I may or may not have been right-clicking on a tree sapper and missed, swinging my Galaxy Hammer down and killing a bat that was flying at me while I was wearing a Napalm Ring
😂😂😂
The reruns for queen of sauce actually saved me for getting perfection. I just got perfection yesterday
It's a great feeling!
I try to avoid a lot of spoilers by using the wiki sparingly on my first playthrough of something, but after that it’s all fair game. I get the experience of figuring things out for myself, but after that fun runs out then I get the fun of optimizing everything by using all of the info I couldn’t discover by myself. It’s a chill game but you can also spend a lot of time creating the absolute perfect farm so whatever makes you enjoy it most is the right way to play
i strongly admire people that avoided wiki their first playthrough but for me sometimes i just gotta know if robin's open y know LOL
I really don't like wasting time with pigs. I was blessed by the traveling cart but I accidentally gave a truffle as a gift to to Leah not realizing I would need 2 to complete the bundles and quests 😭
Me personally, I always forget to fill my silos with hay... so I tend to agree with you there
alternative way to get galaxy soul which i myself prefer:
after unlocking the dangerous version of the mines from qi quest go to floor 45 with monster musk, there will be a lot of monsters everywhere (spiders, thouse bouncing shrooms, few bats here and there). so many in fact that a simple hammer swing should at least always hit some. the sheer amount of monsters + burglar ring ensures at least 1-2 galaxy souls per day.
Especially if you happen to find an infested floor right after your elevator (level 41, 46, 51, 56 especially). there will be so many mobs that you will get a decent amount of metal bars from them.
just remember to take a ginger if you get hit by the putrid ghost debuff.
That's an interesting idea, I'll try it and report back
@@mGaud2 that's how I got 3 galaxy souls in 3 plays in a row.
That's what I wanted to say too.
I just grinded radioactive ores and wsited sn entire season to biy the galaxy soul. Few days later i get the dangerous mines quest and head there and get 3 of them plus an enricher. I was like wth why did I waste so mich radioactive or then...
@the_dark_harvest once you unlock the galaxy sword from the desert, you can buy the galaxy hammer (and dagger, and sword if you want another) from the adventurers guild. And then it's 3 galaxy souls each to upgrade the sword, dagger, and hammer at the volcano forge.
I didn't know about this (ginger to deal with the ghost bs)! You learn something new about this game every day 😅
Warning: though the railroad is generally safe, I’ve noticed some villagers do visit, the most dangerous being Sebastian due to pathing.
Anything north of the tracks - or on the tracks, ironically - is completely safe though.
Big Sheds are overpowered if you put things like garden pots or kegs in them. They take up little space (21 squares) on your farm and give you enough room for at least 137 pieces of equipment.
I donated my first prismatic shard to the museum and offered my second one as a gift to Emily. Got both in year one and im on year 4 now still haven't gotten a third one
Just do skull cavern runs. I'm new to the game and I already have over a hundred prismatic shards on year 1 (I spend too much time in there). They drop like crazy from iridium nodes.
yeah when i do my mass omni-geode breaking excursions, i usually get 1 every 50 or so, so if you have the skill that gets you double geodes and go to the skull caverns with some bombs, you could probably get your hands on one in a day or two
Get gold pick above, thirty bombs and go to skull cave
Mixed seeds are really good at the start of a play thru as well as the start of unlocking the ginger island farm because it has a chance of planting a pineapple and can plant really profitable crops
On buying coal and wood, if you buy 10 wood and place in the charcoal maker in first yeat it only costs 100 gold from robin vs 150 for 1 piece from clint.
I just save some money and buy a whole stack at once before year 2 lol can't bother with that
I was just mathing there. No worries on how people choose to do it.
Fruit trees are good for providing loved gifts year-round in the greenhouse. Elliott loves pomegranates, Robin loves peaches, Gus loves oranges, and Leo loves mangoes.
love ur content your dramatic voice makes it 10x funnier 😭😭 recently got into stardew and i cant stop playing!! watching ur videos fills my stardew thirst @ school
With the valuable gift at least they would be happy lol, once I was carrying bait for crabpots and I accidentally gifted some to Elliot, and I have also given some copper ore to Emily. Neither of them were exactly happy about those gifts xp
Omg yesss I had to move my crab pots because Elliot was always in the way and he hates me for consistently giving him fish bait
I got super excited when I found my first prismatic shard and dinosaur egg bc these videos say how they're super rare. Then I did skull caverns and found out they aren't rare at all and super easy to get.
I might be wrong here but I think the idea of these things being "rare" stems from earlier versions of the game. I've only played v1.5 (Xbox) and have never had issues with finding these items
Using Wiki is not really a mistake. Its like offering the "fun" for "knowledge".
I use wiki if I don't really know where to get this fish, item, and stuffs for getting 100% completion.
I find not using the wiki at all to be the biggest mistake one can make, that thing is a lifesaver especially if you are jack tired of trying to find something that you really want on your own, even if finding out things on your own is the most rewarding thing in the game! If you are happy playing than everything is a win for you!
If you want to play the game blind or don't want spoilers, don't look at the wiki. But if you're an older player or don't mind spoilers, looking at the wiki is not bad! It's just another useful tool to not get as frustrated and have some extra, helpful tips. Plus, if you wanna figure out where to go for someone's heart events but don't want spoilers about the event, the wiki tells you without spoilers! _(You need to expand stuff in the wiki to actually know what specifically happens)
Very informTive i got a long ways to go but your honest mistakes reLy helped a lot
For those who play on mobile do you even get like past the 200th floor in the Skull Cavern? Even if I go first thing, with ladders and speed buffs I can’t barely reach the 200th floor 😅 watching this video having gone to the 800th floor is just 😮😮😮!
A little advice perhaps? Thank you for you videos @mGaud 😊
Yeah, don’t worry about this, you can’t. The slingshot/master slingshot is bugged on mobile apparently and only aims like one direction. I thought for a little while I was too stupid to use it but turns out it straight up doesn’t work which I think is what really limits mobile players when it comes to going deeper down the skull cavern
I did reach 243 floor in the skull using 180 stairs but immediately retreated because of the time. I use the auto attack setup to hit enemies accurately. I'm still crafting more crystallarium so i might try 500 floors soon.👍
I saw a post that someone made it to level 1100 something. I'm just like....how??? I think the farthest I've ever made it was like 180. That was specifically going straight down to 100 the first time and then just going and looking for the dino levels.
I got to 400 on mobile but it’s really hard
"Fruit trees are not worth it"
Actually they are. It's one of few universal likes. All villagers like all fruit tree fruits, no exceptions. So running around town giving everyone apricots for example is easy and you don't lose much profit.
WARNING: For some reason, mangos and bananas are only liked by a handful of people each, the rest are neutral or dislike them.
As a bonus, Gus loves oranges, Elliott loves pomegranates and Robin loves peaches.
Also, they gain quality over the years making them even better gifts.
Wiki is fine to use on first playthrough of a new game IF you are having issues OR there are relationships and gifting. Taking time to figure out everyones like and dislikes is a massive pain in the ass. Im also shit at Puzzles so unless its stupid simple, ill google that puzzle answer instantly. Its why I dont play puzzle games.
I only knew upgraded tools can be held for more area coverage from playing Harvest Moon
I know they say Dino eggs are rare but I fished 2 of them in 1 day and then a 3rd the next day...(i didn't have any luck items...I didn't check the TV) just normal year 1 shlub.
That's crazy! I'm almost done with year three and haven't fished any.😂
Thank you!
I just subscribed it feels amazing
I really enjoy your videos and your voice! Thank you for this!
I donated my first dinosaur egg 😢
Want to play with me 🙋if yes then send something to contact u
Last time I played it was like two years ago and I got to year 3 and I have no idea what I am looking at on any of these farms. My farm was like 20 crops and a beehive. Wtf is an island and wtf are all of these alien tech looking things and what is a volcano doing? Are all of these dlc? Also, ostriches and dinosaurs? really? When that happen?
Do however plant fruit trees in your greenhouse, where they don't care about season and are planted on the edge spaces which arent real estate you'd use for other stuff anyways.
The fruits they produce are universal likes, so they're pretty good for building friendship through random gifting sprees.
I donated the dinosaur egg and haven't gotten another one since😭😭😭
You'll find another 💪
Why is every Stardewtuber completely unhinged? Lmao. This guy and the girl from Amsterdam are completely bonkers. 😂
Which RUclipsr are you referring too? Maybe we should Collab 😂
Yeah which one do you mean?
I have used bombs on my farm before. It was on purpose, near the start, to save on energy. I destroyed some rocks and tilled some soil with them.
On my first save file, I donated my first dino egg and prismatic shard 😭
caviar is not required for missing bundle, i would just do the other stuff
also dinosaur eggs and primatic shards are not rare, i have like 13 of each just from skull cavern alone
"Stones are hard to get" ... you do realize that you can hack the large stones in the mines for 10 each, right? Just a day or two dedicated to doing this will net you hundreds of stone, and unless you're doing a skull cavern staircase run, you can easily upgrade your barns and coops pretty quickly, esp after you get a gold or better pickaxe.
I actually place bomb all my farm before left the game
Mine: holding my pick while harvesting valuable crops. Bye bye ancient fruit
...
I was your 1000 subcriber
re: galaxy soul
just use the /recountnuts command. Buy Qi gems with the wallnuts, recount nuts, repeat until you have enough gems to buy whatever you want. I've only ever done 5 Qi quests lol
Will probably be patched in 1.6.
Accidentally placing a bomb happens so much to me 😥
It still happens to me 🤣
I did this finally and was so upset XD
1:10 no because of the amount of spoilers i have received through youtube shorts
A trampstamp on a nun? 😂😂😂
I play on mobile so it's really annoying with the honey, bcs I can still accidentally pick up a flower even tho I already surrounded all of them with the bee house 😫😫
I didn't know that... sounds rough
Yeah, tap to move has more range than you'd expect (but that means you can reach farther too)
Depuis combien de temps tu joue à ce jeu merveilleux?
Am I wrong or was the how and watering can at the end a mod? As far as I know the normal can only till/Watter 6x3 and not 5x5?
You can upgrade it using the forge on top of the volcano
I don't know what it is, but this video is just so South African and I can't put my finger on why. It's kind of refreshing tho, ngl.
Explain 🤣
@@mGaud2 I think it's the intonation or how words sound when we say them. No one else in the world says "th" quite like we do 😅. Or maybe its just the vibes. Who knows? SA vibes is as SA vibes do.
Fair enough 🤣
I am south african, but I have never said it publicly on this channel 💀
@@mGaud2 my bad for outing you I guess. Want me to remove the comment?
it's not a secret, don't worry
I think you should only use the wiki when you're stuck
4:07 The subscribe button changed
Jaja, my first dino egg was transformed into mayonnaise.
I bought 6 galaxy soul first, coz the dangerous mine mission never show up
Mistakes avoided
the queen of sauce resets every odd numbered year so you can start from scratch on an odd number year and finish in the year after that and get all the recipes :)
also is he using a mod for the hoe and watering can??
I've just never made it far enough where a bomb would change anything.
What's the song at 0:10?
2:51 l heard some move sound is vent chek out bro. wear mask!!
After year one, i said fudge it and wen on the wiki cause i Sebastion was just impossible...... then i found my way onto youtube.... hell if ill remember all of them, but its entertaining..... and i think everyone whos played animal crossing then come to this game messed up with the first season change.....
Ive seen so many people showing off how to multi till and multi water stuff! HOW DO YOU DO IT ON PS4?!? 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Hold whatever is your use button
I've played from the release date, know the game inside out
I destroyed the iridium statue with an accidental bomb
Tip 20. But how use them in Android Version? Or it's not exist in android version.
What is your eye color I want it
I literally just donated my Dino egg a few hours ago…
Mango trees are less profitable than peach and pomegranate terra
using the wiki is more fun imo
I have dropped 😢bombs
Can u get a big Dino in the coop or only mini ones?
Only minis.
I trash galazy sword and buy hammer
👍🏼
use wiki every day
not using it is a big mistake
While advising is sound. Not the most sound advice.
If you have a male farmer, NEVER use the watering can's charge move while facing upwards, because it will look like you're doing something... else.
I guess your farmer had to take a wiz
calm down with the voiceovers like damn 😰
I bomb myself all the time!!! 😭😭😭😭
why do you sound so threatening
I swear this guy has never even played stardew valley. He's just redoing other people's videos in his own voice and uploading them as his own.
Some of his tips are even outdated or flatout wrong.
I see you made the BIGGEST Mistake....marrying Emily 😂 JK
Why do you sound like Davie504?
I disagree with 90 percent of these
Determuis is not my favorite villager he sucks
I was hoping I could use up more area with the hoe and watering can but your video was a lie. There is no 5th form. 🫠
There is, noob
@@mGaud2 enchanting the watering can. Of course you were missing the detail of enchanting to make it cover a 5x5 area.
I use apple trees to farm gifts for villagers, for some reason nobody hates or dislikes apples and you can give them to everyone! Easy to hold on to when you walk around :)
