No matter what car, THIS GUY IS THE HARDEST WORKING RUclipsR, consistently putting up episodes, only stops when waiting for parts or to dedicate time to his relationship, but when it come to cars, this guys actually builds like 95% of each project by himself, i dont see any other youtuber putting down the blood sweat and tears this guy puts in, he keep the progress honest as well, letting us learn from his mistakes, he can build a bicycle and i’ll watch it, the attention to detail, and to see how many times he re-does any imperfection is admirable, let him build what he wants, he has my support, im buying for this raffle🔥🔥

I believe 2015 NHTSA require 2015+ cars to have adjustable headrests which the Ricaro seats don't have. So, those are 2014 or older seats.
Yeah but people could still upgrade the seats.
My 2023 Elantra N didn’t have adjustable headrest, had bucket seats from the factory
@@Slow_Caddi23 I’m not 100% sure on this either. It is what I read on the EVO forums and why I purchased a 2014 instead of the FE.
Any Shelby GT350/ GT500 2016-2024 don’t have adjustable headrests and from what I found it doesn’t require adjustable headrests but when they are present they’re required to reach 27.5inches

Might as well pull engine and tranny, take you 20mins at this point. Makes it easier to work on, and see any hidden damage. Also you have an easier time replacing everything like air bags etc out of car

The recaro seats are more than likely from the Canadian Evo X FE as they didn't have the safety restrictions as the 2015 US market
Can't wait to see this build progress, I love watching your build videos, that aside, I've notice ever since you got the new mic setup there has been a constant buzzing as if you have the gain set too high to help pick up audio since its on the bill of your hat, not sure if anyone else has mentioned it before, also others have had this same issue, I'd take a look at the cable between the unit and your camera, chances are its faulty, but again I look forward to seeing this build like all the others.

Recaro's were not available only in the US in the XFE but those probably are from 2014 or earlier as in FE they had red stitching and red "Recaro" on the front ones. Looks like somebody upgraded the front and back to match 😉

My 2012 MR has those leather Recaro seats, came stock with them
Looks like it has all been replaced before , seam sealer is different to the other side , cut it all off and start again !
Devin, I had a question about the carbon fiber pieces that replace OEM pieces, The company that you use name, and for example, if I wanted to have a trim piece created out of carbon fiber, is that a service?
I don't know that much about tinsmithing but if it needs to be pulled and cut AND you also need to cut strut towers I might consider a professional to do it. It seems quite a bit of work and a little to sensitive to wing it

Is the car canadian? The Canadian FEs still had Recaros from the factory. Otherwise they may have just swapped them from an older evo

Double check the way you stored the headliner. The boxes might leave a mark like an indentation
this is the perfect video since i need to take the dash out of my lancer pretty soon, i'll be adding in additional padding to reduce vibrational noises coming from inside the dash since mitsubishi did a terrible job for these cars unfortunately
These seat came off of a ralliart or Canadian MR editions but not final since we had the red stitching for 2015 and these seats were bought separately…no US final edition had these seats

Funny how u can compair usa parts and canadians, our finals had the same seat but a bit of red touch to them, but most all our Ralliart/premiums had those same suade leather combos and some mr was all full leathers and the base were cloth, We never got that console other the final evos, but i saw them in Newer Gen lancer GT's in usa , since i had imported that same console for mine, its nice till the damn clips break, or someone should 3d a inner so the Rcas go in deeper lol also our finals? got the sunroof
