devin ... someday when you old and you reflect on your past ... and someone asks ... "hey Gramps, did one of your actions ever save a life" I want you too remember how Val said "you just saved someone's life" ... trust me Deven and val ... your actions doing it right really might have saved a life ... well done boys ... keep saving life's one rebuild at a time!
Not gonna lie I'm not entirely sure if this is worth the amount of time it is gonna take, but I am thankful that you guys are taking the time to make it safe for whoever ends up winning. Made respect for doing the hard thing and not the easy thing.
I have to say episodes with Val are my favorite. Mostly because I don’t have much frame and body repair experience and it is nice to see something I can learn from. Nice job!
Love watching Val call out the previous work, also I can tell by the look you have every few appearances on the camera, it may be a big bite but if you chew slowly and thoroughly it'll turn out beautiful. You haven't failed us yet D Man!
That looks like a daunting task but you got Val right there at your ring side so I bet this car will come out one of the best cars you’ll repair! And it’s nice to see salvagemasterV doing what he do best!
Glad to see you having Val help you out on this project, car is come long way in just first days,he is a friend that is great to have.great video, great job.just keep doing your thing and carry on.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Love the collaborative work saving this car. This like an extreme episode of Overhaulin'! I know this will look fantastic and be safe car at the end of the build. Thanks Devin and Val for bringing us along for this adventure.
Im survivor i was hit at 35 mph standing while i was working it i have tbi what ur doing could save someones life that has i love val and ur heart into everything its amazing great job boys 🎉
Whoever wins this car is gonna have one nice car when its all said and done. This car was in ROUGH shape from the hit and the repairs and with Devin's attention to detail and Val's help, this is gonna be one nice build.
Val's knowledge is huge about damaged cars, and he is right about all of these countries as they are poorer in comparison to other European countries, there are many crashed vehicles that end up being fixed in a bad way, I have seen cars cut in half and welded up together. Cheers!
That's wild to see. I did laugh when you guys cut the other half out of the other car. Just looked so random. 😆 But yeah hands down I believe in Val's expertise and the job you guys do with previous project. This literally will be as it came from the manufacturer with the replacement part.
You and Val make a great team! I hope that you and Val do more videos together on cars like this! I love how you try new things that are out of your comfort zone. It really helps me with my builds and just trying new things and going with the flow. Keep up the amazing work, Devin!!! The evo final edition is my favorite evo 10!
Recommend getting some 3M cavity wax & spraying inside the replaced frame (when welded on the car) just to add that extra level of protection against future rust inside the frame
Devin says he's excited but I hear concern in his voice when he's looking at that stripped out and hacked shell. I'm pretty sure it's going to turn just fine, the guys sounds like he knows what he's doing. If worse comes to worse, do a rear seat delete and get a roll cage in there for ease of mind
Bro luckily you have a donner car and you can do it. If you didn't i would pull it all out and strengthen it, when the geometry of the cars spec's all alignes, thats what most car guys do when you build a race cars and btw haters the later jdm cars are designed to front and back end crumple when struck in thise areas except the cabin area, the crumple zone...
I cannot wait for the inevitable "how much did it cost to fix Final Edition Evo X" I'm extremely curious on whether it was worth it money wise, regarding the build itself (cause I know you generate revenue of it)
hey Devin, question about your personal car shop, did you buy the land and build the garage or you bought the land with the structure already? planning to do the same thing to have my own personal shop that i can store my cars
Devin will you pls post a video of how realible is the supercharger on the bmw e92 and take it on the road trip before I buy a supercharger for mine thanks
yk i just thought of it. i know you’re having paper troubles with the evo 4? i don’t remember but you should make it like a track build or something. something you could really abuse and have fun with kinda no limits
I pulled the big one in before ask him im serious they had a wrecker come drop a frame machine no wheels and I pulled it in the shop I was at there freaking heavy 0:20
Imagine what the previous owner is feeling if he saw this video. Hey Val and Devin, please sign the body panel with a paint pen. If I win this car, I would like to have it signed by you..

I mean if it was clean title 10k miles its worth $50k... my buddy just bought a 2014 evo 10 for $48k with 8k miles

Val is absolutely right too when it comes to buying vehicles.😂 Coming from an Alaskan who sees this every day.

Val is a great guy love the duo lol
Val's knowledge is huge about damaged cars, and he is right about all of these countries as they are poorer in comparison to other European countries, there are many crashed vehicles that end up being fixed in a bad way, I have seen cars cut in half and welded up together. Cheers!

Great video , your friend Val has great attention to detail. Really liking these videos ..
Val is the mvp on this build
Val is the man the car doctor
Nice to see that you take good path to fix this car not the easy way.
it's always going to be a great video when val pops in and spreads his knowledge. love seeing him helping you out.
Val said "If we are not going to do it right, I don't want to do it at all" 😎
Love all the work going into this FE ! She needed to be saved !!
Heck ya! Go Val!
Wow .........very skilled and knowledgeable. The skills to do it the right way.......love it. No half ass here.
Val is a legend!
Val is the new Ice Man.

This is an insane amount of work and dedication. So excited to see more progress. Keep up the good content.
Devin you’re killing me! Where is the civic dyno video!🤣😭
evo gang
It dropped today
Barehand Val is just gangster
Wow Devin. That's alot of work but amazingly done. I love these videos and can't wait to see the full outcome

Man u are a real good machanic on RUclips i hv all RUclips but u
You sir are just too dang impressive. What you do... this is a giveaway car. Wow. A lot of work to get this thing right.
I miss the fist punch sound effects 😂
I can tell you for sure, that body shops do use used parts too, and it is usually up to the insurance company.
Always learning new things from this content!! Thanks Devin.
Shaved engine bay would be 🔥🔥
always works when you just open your eyes a little bit while cutting :D
You guys are an awesome team. Cant wait to see this one done.
Love the OG background music and love your work

We cant wait to have this done man! You can do it! Lets go!!!!
We use spot Weld cutters and they great
Bro I thought the FE Evo was the parts car this whole time 🤣 man that partout Evo is coming in handy once again! 1 Evo saving several Evos. MVP
Use your fancy band file for burning through spot welds. Easy
It was very limited edition after that repair good about the put airbag not resisters (air bag symulator) .
Body work is a lot of work
Answered the exact question I was thinking at the end of the video! 🎉
Man this looks like mad ass work haha but lucky you got the legend Val in house definitely excited for this series
10:43 that sh*t reminds me of that one video "oops almost forgot my safety glasses, and then squints"
That's nuts man. You seriously love Evos you should petition Mitsubishi to bring them back
You said wow together 😅
name me a better duo on devin’s channel. times up! its devin and val. the GOAT 🐐
Gonna be crazy amount of time & work
You guys make a good team.👍🇵🇹

Can't wait to see this blow up on the dyno😊
Val! build this car like the rusky's used to do, strong!!
Yeooo we back🔥🔥
You and your team are amazing ❤ neighbor Mike and Tonie
Buy a Front Clip dev as I said in episode one. I've seen guys down basically just cut that entire clip off, measure, square and weld it in.
Should put in a full cage as you got it that far apart.
I cannot wait for the inevitable "how much did it cost to fix Final Edition Evo X" I'm extremely curious on whether it was worth it money wise, regarding the build itself (cause I know you generate revenue of it)
Also just like that everything is gone 17:08
Lmao the dig on goonzsquad had me laughing so hard 😂🤣🤣😂😂 Sell it for chance to win!!!
hey Devin, question about your personal car shop, did you buy the land and build the garage or you bought the land with the structure already? planning to do the same thing to have my own personal shop that i can store my cars
I love how he has no gloves on when using the cutoff wheel
We haven’t seen a video from Val for ages
Then you pull and straighten 8:13
It would be easier to do right hand drive swap and get title there 3:06
I miss that Dylan carpet music on the background
Devin will you pls post a video of how realible is the supercharger on the bmw e92 and take it on the road trip before I buy a supercharger for mine thanks
Would be super dope at this point firewall swap it for RHD conversion for a bad ass RHD final edition evo X
homie trying to play tic tac toe with his hair cut!
Nice team 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Thats called the line 8:13
Lucky that Latvia 🇱🇻 was not mentioned by good friend 😅

You really should wear eye protection broskie. I've seen a few accidents with eyes and metal work.
You should wear eye gogle and helmet
It is a lot... for the car lol😂😂😂most awkward moment
So Val is the reason I ended up buying scrap metal lol
