I don't know about the USA, but here in the UK _all_ the "knock-offs" suddenly disappeared a couple of years ago - Dr Thunder from Asda, Dr Fizz from Tesco, Dr Pop from Morrisons. A great pity! The three aforementioned were all "zero calories" and all tasted way better than diet Dr Pepper.
This was really well done, especially compared to other similarly themed RUclips videos. However, it probably would've been better to do a _blind_ taste test, and just line them up in the order of favorite to least favorite. Then reveal the names at the end. If _Dr Pepper_ is truly the best of the bunch without bias, it'll come out on top.

But we do have Hardee's, no In-N-Out burger, no Whataburger, Jack in the Box just recently returned to the region, worst of all we don't have taco Grande! We also don't have that popular Taco chain in California that I can't remember the name of, in and out or taco Hut or whatever it is. So things are still pretty Regional in America and actually I think that's okay!

Pepper would have been cool to be included, and then at the end may be a really quick random taste test with shot glasses to see if after all that abuse he could still pick out the real dr. Pepper. Love this video, just stumbled across it! Everything Rick in the crew do is hilarious and needs more publicity because more people deserve to be exposed to this hilariocity!

Any artificial or alternative sweeter really does become apparent after the first swig and you end up scrunching your face ... Kind of like how you watch SW Episode 7 and realize afterward you saw it three movies earlier.
This is part of a much larger Channel, got to check out some of the other stuff there is riffing on movies, funny music videos and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. And I agree the production value is extraordinarily high , but they've been doing this I think for almost a decade!

Unfortunately, the Laneco and Food Lane Stores (I believe, strictly, an East Coast company) have gone out of business. They produced "Dr Right," the absolute best generic version of Dr Pepper, which exceeded Dr Pepper's flavor. It was slightly sweeter than the original, and had good carbonation. When ice cold, I would ooh and ahh, while drinking it.
