- Here's 2 easy home exercises for quick relief from Sciatic Pain. These 2 physical therapy exercises relieve two of the most common causes of sciatica and low back pain. The first exercise releases the sacroiliac joint, which is a frequent cause of referred leg pain. And the second exercise opens up the lumbar spinal joints (another source of referred pain into the leg), but also takes pressure off the nerves that form the sciatic nerve that goes down the leg. They even stretch gluteal muscles in the pelvis which can cause leg pain. They only take about 1 minute each, so are one of the simplest sciatica pain treatments.

This is great! I was experiencing heel pain and vertigo at the same time. Figuring they were unrelated my doctor had me do similar test and techhniques for the relief of the vertigo and it helped temporarily relieve the foot pain. The vertigo was better but the foot pain returned and some pain and pulling in rhe back of my left leg. I looked it up on a reflexology chart and it was in the sciatica region. I found this exercise was similar to the one my doctor had me do for the vertigo which explains why it temporarily releived the situation. Now that I know it is from the sciatica I can work on it and hopefully this will help me walk normal again soon
