- It’s been two years since Abby Williams and Libby German went missing during a hike on the Delphi Historic Trails in Indiana on Feb. 13, 2017. They were found the next day, but it was too late. The suspect in the case has not been found.
Police say this is not a cold case and remains an active investigation.

These reporters have ZERO respect. You go to a murdered child’s door and ask how they are doing?! In their home. Where a child no longer laughs and sleep. Absolutely disgusting. Reach out first, not harass and re traumatize the family. It could have been a good day. Turned back to sorrow of a lost loved one due to your lack of empathy or respect

I used to work at a grocery store right after high school. The liquor store next to us had been robbed so the cops came to ask questions. They said "we are looking for a white male, white tank top, shorts, dark hair and tattoos." Which described pretty much every white guy in that area.

On another RUclips sight, an individual who lives in this area , stated the police dept here is very corrupt. The LE party who did the media interview (different Delphi murder video) retired shortly after and I have to wonder if he just wanted no part of a coverup, if there was one, as he was so genuine in his words and feelings. It's been a long time now since this happens and to my knowledge, still no arrest. What a horrible tragedy.

My kids take krav maga. After using combatives to knock the person down, they are talk to run screaming fire fire fire. And they're required to be able to describe the person that attacked them. They literally do these drills every practice multiple times we test them when we're out in public it's drilled into their heads to react that way
@Zoozooshi Crazy no it doesnt. We test them as in coming up behind them and grabbing their hand. They get out of grip, turn, look and stop before they strike us. :)
Its made my kids aware of their surroundings, able to describe people in detail and able to instinctively react. They even teach active shooter drills (unfortunate that they have to learn that) Best investment ive ever made. Theyve been doing it 3 years, are now at red belt and my husband and I train now too.
I remember watching this when she was first missing like I mean the original discovery
julia hashem same, I live an hour away from that town. It was so sad to hear the news. That one guy who abducted and murdered an 8year old girl just got caught after 30 years in my city. He just took a plea deal for 80yrs. So it gives me hope. He most likely will be caught.

I’ve been reading true crime since I was 10, when Andrea Yates did her crime. This one has stuck in my mind definitely top three. It’s just so crazy. It affects me a lot. The voice in the video, the desolate area, two of them meaning at least one witnessed horror of her friend. Who the fuck is it?!

They were taken on my birthday. I believe they need to release more of the recorded voice of the suspect. Surely that’s not all that’s recorded fit for release without jeopardizing the investigation or traumatizing the listener. It’s also just as likely as not that the 2 cases are linked in my opinion. I would not rule it out at all.
I am thinking that voice clip may be from a "live photo", and that's why it's so short.
It records a couple seconds of video before, during, and after any actual photo is taken. My phone has that setting and it was factory activated. A lot of people don't even know what it is, I guess.
Maybe it was said when the picture of that man was taken? Doesn't look like he's talking in the photo, but things happen fast.

I have been following this case since the beginning and the police have to have more information than what they're saying I don't know why they're withholding it but they have to have more. There's no way if she started a video that all she's got is down the hill there has to be more audio going on and if there's more audio does it record how many suspects there are and if they know how many suspects they are why are they saying and if there's more audio does it tell how they died? What about DNA evidence it's been 2 years and they don't know if they've got DNA evidence? What's going on with this investigation????

There’s an odd phenomenon that causes the brain to pick up a pattern or sound that really is not what it appears to be.Although I and everyone else hears “ Down the hill” it could be something else that was part of a different word or sentence. I am really wondering if the looked at how long the timeline was between the pictures of the two girls on the train bridge to when the male appears? There’s no pictures of him in the distance when they are taking their pictures and so how did he sneak up on them so quickly. I wonder if he was actually behind them and walked ahead and then turned back towards them?That would make them feel unsafe , hence the reason why they took a picture. I also have to wonder if they were able to pinpoint where the phone was when the phrase “ Down the hill” was recorded? I just have to wonder if we are putting to much into this picture. I think it’s the offender but his face is hidden so the clothing is very important. Is this all the footage the police have? Also could a dialect expert help with the voice?I also fear this is not this persons first murder, it takes a lot of confidence to take control of two individuals! I also feel that this person has ties to the area but probably doesn’t live in that town anymore. The probably live close by though.

I remember when this happened I wasn't allowed to walk to the park on my own, as I live pretty close to Delphi.
but its not completely unsolved, they have a man in custody they believe is the one who killed the poor little girls. reference is stay tuned and inside edition both posted about it not to long ago, probably about a month ago now

IMO He’s wearing a hood over his hat in one pic and just the hat in the other. Looks like he squeezes the bill of his hat and that’s why it’s shaped like that. It’s something I’ve seen “country” men do. I feel like this could be a good clue. Look for someone who still owns that very worn down hat or someone who had that hat for years and happened to throw it away after the murders.

I live in a very bad area and the first thing I thought when I saw the cell phone photo of the guy is.. disheveled homeless alcoholic. They are a familiar sight here. This is my observation and I mean no offence to anyone.

I live by Delphi. I think about these girls a lot, wondering if the man I saw at the gas station was the man who killed them. I remember seeing the billboards in Fort Wayne, Indy, and Chicago.
It happened 2 years ago. Odds are the guy's moved on to another state, or has been arrested for an unrelated crime

Who frequents that trail? Wheres the nearest surveillance cam? What cars have driven past that surveillance cam on the same days the girls frequented the spot? Someone saw them there before & stalked them the day they disappeared. Cant be this hard to find a guy you have on camera. Makes no sense. Knock on every single solitary door in that entire town. I don’t get it.
Please stop using your "safe neighborhood" as an excuse to do ridiculous things like leaving your doors and windows unlocked and letting your kids roam the middle of nowhere by themselves. This is not to blame the parents but for the love of God we have to play an active role in preventing these things rather than leaving ourselves open to predators.

One of them should have been able to out run him. Unless he has a gun and could shoot if they tried to run. But still you can run and mostly likely you won't be shot (just duck and do whatever you can to get away). Both of them could have ran in different ways, unable to shoot both.
I watched a crime episode a couple of months ago and they found the killer by a piece of dirt and dna that was at the crime scene about 30 years before
