Yeah, this is metal :) some might describe the style more specifically as metalcore, or maybe even "symphonic metal" due to the orchestral elements. But whatever you want to call it, it's definitely metal
The intro to the show is a combination of various types of metal heavy metal, metal core, hardcore, djent If you want to check out some metal similar to this end me a message haha
This song suits the label of metalcore. I really like this opening, but if they were gonna go metalcore, they shoulda gone for Dexcore. Shit woulda been nuts
Yes this is metal, not heavy metal tho, its probably death metal. Heavy metal is the least heavy of all metal, thats why they call it hardrock sometimes
its not death metal, alt metal is more accurate since the band itself is alt metal, but id say to me this one sounds more heavy metal like, also it made it to the top of the us billboard charts for hardrock and alt, death metal would have a lot more growling
No it's not death metal, closer to heavy metal or power metal or something. Heavy metal is definitely not the least "heavy", death metal is far less heavy. Death metal is generally quicker and more chaotic, but that makes it less "heavy", not more. "Heavy" is more related to slower beats with a sense of weight behind it. Just like larger animals have slower footsteps and deeper sounds so do Heavy metal and power metal rely on conveying a sense of power and weight through deeper tones and slower beats while deathmetal is often higher pitched, quicker, and more chaotic. "Rumbling" has a very clear slow beat corresponding to the footsteps of the colossal titans, and screaming is only used occasionally to give gravitas to certain words instead of being the default tone. All of that indicates power metal.
@@DutchDread if we are going to be specific, it's more metalcore than anything, which isn't even a genre of metal. Metalcore derives from hardcore punk with metal influences, usually has screams and can contain clean vocals with more of a breakdown style playing than a riffs one.
It's more resembling of metalcore. It's a little slower than extreme metal but definitely has the hardcore punk aspects in it. The melodic chorus also makes it stand out like other metalcore with cleans in it but either way the song is heavy asf and slaps
Sooo my old laptop ruined the editing in the video. I'll reupload soon.
