This " cartoon" has a better plot than anything live action I've ever seen.

the band is a big fan of the manga and they approached the studio to specially make the song for the show and the whole lyrics are dedicated to the journey of how the main character developed

Cartoons can have multiple short films or skits instead of a story which can go on indefinitely

This is what I’m talking bout one of the ideas is that they show how there is no wrong person everyone has their morals there isn’t any black or white. Like most other “simple” anime like demon slayer or dragon ball z. Eren is S1-3 I’ll give u that but the Eren is S1-3 foreshadows his events in S4 and the story telling is better then imo all other animes when combined with the action. But how is the plot basic? The world wants to kill Marley so Eren defends Marley is that all u got from it?

So him basically being a whiny little bitch for 3 season and then turning into a savage monster in season 4 isn’t character development? Eren, Reiner and Gabby have the most character development in the entire show and it’s some of the most fluid and natural character development in anime

@@sckemicals4439 shows how little attention you payed while watching. Eren in the first 3 seasons learns hand to hand combat from Annie which he used to beat Reiner. He is presented with the ideal of keep moving forward from Reiner. By the end of season 2 his main goal and ideology of killing all the titans changes to wanting to protect his friends. Over the first 3 seasons you can see that he slowly starts to become more calm and cold hearted. In the first 2 seasons he was subconsciously battling with the idea of trusting his comrades and then in season 3 that basically goes out the window and he grows a god complex. Actually comparing aot’s story (which switches from a shonen to a seinen part way through) to Demon slayers mid shonen story is idiotic
SiM is known for their genre-mixing and mostly metalcore with punk/ska/reggae etc. Some of their songs are really regular, but there are some experimental ones as well. But the constant change always keep it exciting TBH.

anime is a distinct style of animation that is different from cartoons. anime is mainly a japanese thing while cartoons are more of a western thing…
essentially it's true, but technically, "anime" it's just the way japanese people call "animation", of any kind
I never thought I'd like Anime but my sister forced me to watch 5 episodes and then I ended up catching up at the end of season 3 a month later. Now my whole family and I would watch every episode every Sunday of season 4 and we're currently hyped for the ending next year. I've watched several animes that I've really come to love but no other anime, or show for that matter comes close to the masterpiece that is Attack on Titan. The best storytelling and characters ever, the plot is so crazy with a message that humanity never seems to hear but really needs to.

The defination of cartoon has changed in 21st century.
The word animation has taken its place. So basically cartoon is sometime that is more connected to kids friendly content and they usually(not all) didn't have specific seasonal story.
Where anime refers to as japanese animation which have more than 27+ genres and their content ranges from kids specific to teenager or adults specific.

The lyrics will make more sense if you know attack on titan. attack on titan may be cartoon (animated I supposed :) ) but it's theme is very mature and the plot has a lot of twist and turns. Anyway, thanks for the review ;-)

It’s such an amazing show. Imagine all the intrigue of Game of Thrones, a lot of action, and just no drop off between seasons. Best anime since DBZ in my opinion.
