At the end it almost sounds like he's not the one talking- Like yeah- it's his voice, his attitude, but it just sounded......"unlike him", and the way he ends his audio tape in third person. You know what I mean?

I just think the “shake it off Sammy” is kind of similar to something people just tend to do. It’s just talking to yourself to either make yourself feel better or get back on track.
You can hear in his voice that something is already wrong with him.

Finally we got Sammy Lawrence he’s one of my favorite characters
I had a dog called Sammy, and I'd make this joke aabout Sammy Lawrence and My dog Sammy. I think in early June, she started dying and we had to put her down the next day. It was one of the most horrible and saddest days of my life. So, whenever I hear Sammy Lawrence I instantly think of Sammy. Joey Drew Studios really changed my life, with all the great unique characters. But There is only one that'll always live in my heart. Sammy. Thanks for everything Joey Drew Studios. I truly hope Batdr comes out soon.

Well yeah, there's the age thing, but he doesn't quite sound like this in his in game audio logs either. Wally said in 33 that big things were coming, implying the ink machine, so 2 years later should have Sammy sounding more like his in game logs, given that they take place at some point shortly after the installation of the ink machine. Or I'm overthinking it! Either way

I love this audio log for multiple reasons! I shows Sammy's spiraling collapse into insanity and show's that he didn't even realize what he was doing was wrong or anything of the sort. It just gives me more appreciation for an already amazing character
