Yo brother you and tex really jumpstarted my entire past buying the catalyst games big box set in 2017. I am digging into battletech now and it's so exciting, thank you for doing these lore videos. Much love ❤
The interesting part about the 3030's Comguards: while they had the best tech available (before the tech race that began in the late 3030's with the unlocking of weapons tech from the Helm memory core) in comparism with the original SLDF they were on the level of the regular SLDF forces not the Royal forces which were in essence the base for the Clan military. But thanks to Focht's military drill they got the most out of their equipment (also interesting to note that some of their biggest training bases were set in the Outworlds Alliance the most pacifistic nation in the IS)

@@macrux152__8 not sure if this is a joke or not. But that's how the Timber Wolf got it's Inner Sphere name. It uses the Chassis ID and got confused between the two mechs because the Warbook had never seen an Omni-Mech before. Thus the Marauder (MAD) and Catapult (CAT)
@Madcat529 It's mostly a joke. I took it from Tex(he went around and mushed Marauder Arms on the Catapult in his Catapult video, something I found funny). I still love how you portrayed it on this video, Phelan Kell, suddenly seeing a Lazer shot LONGER than any he's seen in existance suddenly popping off a pirate mech. Then seeing his sensors go awry between MAD, and CATapult. God what he would've felt there.
It looks like you're running a couple mods, but specifically in reference to the colors (lasers, PPC, and friendly unit icons) all look a bit different. Is it a mod or is it adjusting accessibility settings? And the layout of your HUD is different from the vanilla game. Can you tell us what mod(s) you're using?
whoa, weird deja-vu. Swore someone commented exactly this earlier today. As I said in that one, the video is a while ago so I have no idea what I was running. I do not run any accessibility settings, but the weapons I was using were Clan weapons, and the mod creator decided to use some janky ass colors for them.

Was house liao kept just to appease china or did battletech need a constant anti social pariah of a house to keep drama going? They couldn't come up with another group to do the same? There is no point to liao except to keep the wounds of the inner sphere from healing. I have an idea! Let's keep house liao alive so everyone can stay dysfunctional, stupid, and short sighted in battletech. It would be amazing if house liao had schools to combat the mental illness baked into their culture.
