sit thank you so much for the video!! this will be much of a help for me to have a solid foundation about pop and slapping.!! thank you sir i owe you so much!!
Mate, you are brilliant, I am an ex 56 year old pro Drummer, I have a brain disorder, can't play anymore and don't have long left. I don't want sympathy, I have had a great life! I am learning to play bass/guitar to stave off dementure. Your site/teaching techniques are the best I have found, you teach from a drummer's perspective, very refreshing!! Mark King is my all time Bass hero, can you do my all time favourite piece of Music 'The pursuits of Accidents'?
Sure thing Mark. I love the Pursuit of accidents too. Haven't got the foggiest how it goes but I'll get on it tomorrow. I'm glad that my channel has helped you mate. Cheers Davey
CambridgeBassLessons Cheers mate, I can't wait, I am very grateful to you. If you checkout RUclips there are a number of 'Bass Players' tried to perform'Pursuit of Accidents', so you should get many hits from your interpretation.
Do you like Marcus Miller, my second favourite bass player? What about my turf, I have so many favourite drummers, Steve Gadd, Harvey Mason, Jon Bonham, Iain Paice, but as you know there can be only one favourite in yoUr life, my hero, who I had the privilage of seeing live and meeting, BILLY COBHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREATEST DRUMMER, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No I'm not a drummer. Wish I could play but I'm right handed and left footed and always had trouble when I got behind a kit. I reckon I'd be good at kick boxing though! It would really confuse the opponent!! The drummers I love are Phil Gould, Stewart Copeland, Neil Peart. Level 42, The Police and Rush (Weather Report) are the bands that made up the soundtrack to my youth. I played with Thomas Lang when we were both in the Stephen Gately band. Not my kind of music (had to pay the bills etc etc) but Thomas is a beast behind the kit. The best I ever played with.
I have been searching the internet, for the right sites, to give me what I want! You are Fucking talented mate, are you an ex drummer? You must be, you know too much for just a guitarist. Guitarist all ways think we, as drummers, are arseholes, but we ain't ? I have sent your website to my guitar tuitor. He is trying to set up an online tuitor service, I have told him, you have blown me away, perhaps you can collaborate. I tell you how 'Pursuit of Accidents' is, written in my will, greatest piece of music, ever, which my 'Power of Attorney knows, when then they burn me, it must be played!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Send me an email address I'll send you the music best piece Mark King ever wrote/performed, he told me himself!!!!!!!!!!! and I can pass on your details to my music tuitor. You are extremely talented as a player and teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you and Thank you!!!!!!!!!
