Dfb guide you definitely need to make an app, so that people can get all the good treats at Walt Disney world on their phone instantly! whenever they’re near a food/snack venue they won’t miss an offering because the app notices them when something yummy is near.

FYI, the burnt end fries aren't actually gone. I asked a CM about this last summer. They don't put them on the online menu anymore or even the menu board inside because they sometimes run out before the end of the day. Instead, they only advertise it on a standalone sign by the registers so that if they do run out, they can quickly just remove the sign.

I LOVE getting kids meals. Hot tip, when you mobile order a kids meal at a quick service, it almost always allows you to swap out the juice box or milk for a small soda, and SOMETIMES it even lets you swap out the cutie or apples for a more fun side like fries. In my experience if you order in person and ask for this they won’t do it, but they give you the option in the mobile order :)

I was once horribly dispointed by ordering an item off a menu listed as "Disco Fries" that appeared to be poutine, but most definetly was not. Had I not been expecting poutine, it would probably have been pretty okay. Perhaps that will work for the non-authentic poutine?

  • @LabrottieMom

As a Canadian who grew up in the birthplace of Canadian Poutine (Quebec), I can confirm that none of the poutine served in Disney World comes any close to being as good as authentic poutine you can find in Canada.
I call the Disney version American Poutine. As many international dishes that have been Americanized, it’s not bad but it’s really just a pale imitation of the original thing.

Disney should switch from Blue Food Coloring to Blue Butterfly Pea Tea. It is a drinkable science experiment that has the same vibrant blue shade as anything bathed in blue food coloring, but it has a fun quirk when acids like lemon juice are added as it turns from vibrant Blue like Stitch to a vibrant purple akin to Rapunzel's dress. The tea is very healthy with plenty of antioxidants. Granted The dried flowers used for the tea can cost $50 for 1000grams or 2.2lbs though so unless Disney can grow them domestically to save on costs they probably won't splurge for a healthy little science experiment to replace all the blue food coloring. Who knows? Maybe they might consider experiment with some recipes if the tea is ever brought to their attention.
