Important for folks to know that if someone has a shellfish allergy (like me), bugs should also be off the menu in case of related anaphylaxis. The rest of the flavors sound intriguing, though!
My cousins have dairy and egg allergies and they can almost never have any treats or eat out. They were so excited to be able to go to the allergy friendly place in Disney springs and they still talk about it.
Both my kids were in the same boat when they were younger. So grateful for the always nice people at Erin McKenna's Bakery! We still go even though they have outgrown most of their allergies.
My daughter and I got the Kitchen Sink after a marathon a few years ago. We almost finished it all. The servers were quite impressed. Especially since we had lunch there first. 😅
AJ - can you do a video on snack tips that guests don't know to ask for? This could include asking for an extra side of frosting at Gaston's tavern, asking the check-in desk for California Grill if there is bar seating available, and ordering the whipped cream for the Kitchen Sink on the side so you can see what you're eating?
Wait til you see the new snacks they just announced for March. There's a Princess Leia milkshake with actual cinnamon rolls on either side of the glass. 😂
I feel that the whole point of the food in Batuu is to be, quite literally, alien. Of course it will have weird textures and flavors. If you don’t want alien food, eat when you “get back to Earth.” 😅
Hilarious that the spring rolls at Joy of Tea at Epcot are half the price and twice as good as the cheeseburger rolls at MK, and you get the same amount per order 🤣
Pickle Corn Dog! I like dill relish on hot dogs…I like fried pickles…This sounds reasonable and good to me!! I look forward to getting to give it a try!!!
I honestly thought the tie dye cheesecake was a little overrated. Not much wow factor for me past the uneaten visuals. Now the Nemo cheesecake at Art of Animation... THAT'S delicious and I could eat several!
It's the unusual and ridiculous snacks that can add more fun to your experience. The pre packaged goodies from the World Showcase seem like great food souvenirs and snacks not typically available in your home markets.
Hm, I wonder if that corn dog was inspired by that burger that was infamous years ago at some restaurants, that was a burger with pickles and a peanut butter sauce. (I made a version at home and it was amazing, if it’s anything like that then it might be weirdly good)
You guys are amazing with your free lists and snack maps. Now I can drool over these snacks for months before my trip. Thank you to everyone involved. :)
Tell me about it. I'm going during Spring Break this year and one of my goals is to try and grab Gideon's, but the only way I'll probably be able to is if they have the virtual que going, which they don't always have up and running
As an Orlando local, what I like to do is go up to Gideons first before I do anything else at Disney Springs so if I have to sign up for a long virtual queue I can spend that time shopping, eating, seeing a movie, or whatever else I already planned on doing there
My family and I went to Gideon's for the first time last spring and we were amazed. I got a cookie that took me almost 4 days to eat. Delicious but so big and rich. Dark cherry and dark chocolate something. So good.👍
I remember one of my first trips and I went to Main Street Ice Cream Parlor and I got the smaller Mickey’s Kitchen Sink. I was just barely able to finish it before getting back to my hotel and I got it well before fireworks! 😅
Have to imagine a foreign visitor who goes up to the counter and says (with a perfectly straight face)... "I would like a ridiculous snack". I actually once had a similar experience (though not at WDW), when a foreign visitor said "I would like a gooey dessert". I was young and there with my Dad, and just about lost it...
As a GF (celiac) person I really like watchin' your vids to kinda live an amazing food time through you, but I'm super thankful whenever you highlight places that do GF/Vegan/Allergy friendly places!
A lot of restaurants around WDW can do specialty off menu items as well so definitely ask your server. Nomad Lounge is a great spot for celiac friendly dishes, I believe there was only one dish that couldn’t be modified when I was there last week!
I wanted a Ghirardelli milkshake so bad when I went, but it was the end of my trip and having already had a bit of a tummy ache from all the fried goodies, I couldn't risk it for a $12 dairy filled milkshake. I just stood in the lobby and let my mouth water at the sign to get out of the hustle and bustle 😂
Oh gosh the giant sweets are not my cup of tea. That pretzel looked amazing. I honestly just like a good chicken leg to keep the energy flowing steady and then desert for when I'm ready to wind down for the day.
Consider doing interviews with some of the chefs at Disney or Universal! Like the one at Tony’s Town Inn who is now landing items on your faves list. Or whoever created the blue and green milks. (Can’t we swap those in and out with others, like an orange tangerine milk or a yellow lemon milk?
We've got Ghiradeli's on the West Coast in California Adventure, the ice cream is expensive but I cannot recommend the hot chocolate highly enough. Best hot chocolate I've had in my life, I'd almost call it a drinking chocolate.
Hi AJ!!!! I just have to say I love your videos. They are crucial to me when planning my next Disney trip, or just to get me into a better mood bring back some memories from my last trip or memories from going there in the 80’s, 90’s and even early 2000’s. So, idk if you have already done a video like this already and I missed it, or you haven’t. But, do you think you can do a video on food allergies? Like where to get the best Gluten Free, peanut free, ect food and snacks. My wife due to health issues eats GF. So, sometimes it is a little hard to find alternatives for her to get and yes Disney is great at helping letting them be aware and their are options out there of course. But, if you know little tips and tricks on where the best alternatives are, or where they can make the same dish just GF or any other food allergy and option for that person that would be great. I have seen you cover this in side videos before but to have one video that only shows this would be helpful. Thank you so much for everything you guys do to make everyones next Disney trip that much better.
@DFBGuide we just had dinner there and thank you so much for this tip!!!!! The sliders were amazing and the lounge was nearly empty. We never even would have known it was there if not for these videos. We also had the corn on the cob at AK based on your recommendation and they were incredible. Thanks so much
That kitchen sink ice cream is an affront to God, and the person who came up with it is a madman.
Important for folks to know that if someone has a shellfish allergy (like me), bugs should also be off the menu in case of related anaphylaxis. The rest of the flavors sound intriguing, though!
Never heard of that! Good to know, thanks for sharing!

Erin McKenna’s bakery! Yum!!
Yes!!! So good!
Both my kids were in the same boat when they were younger. So grateful for the always nice people at Erin McKenna's Bakery! We still go even though they have outgrown most of their allergies.
Salt and Straw has vegan options. I think the donut place has 1.
But any menu item that says "plant-based" is dairy and egg free.
❤

Great video idea!
2:02 finally ice cream my pet lizard can enjoy 😂
The tye dye cheesecake has no right to be that good though
The smoked turkey leg is fantastic!!!
not eating bugs under any circumstances

That’s hilarious. They should make it half price on May 4th!
@@RLucas3000 your comment is even funnier

I’m sitting here with a pen and paper writing down my favourite snacks from this video 😂 I hope to try some of these next week!
Check out her vids on what snacks to get with the Disney plan , some amazing snacks on those lists too!
Another cheap eat in Germany is the Werthers caramel popcorn (fresh made) and the chocolate caramel cookie.
The giant red velvet cake slice "Valentina's Cake" at Gideon's Bakehouse is unbelievable. Believe the hype as it is real.

Idea for an episode - snacks of the past! I'd personally love the nostalgia. Like early 2000s discontinued snacks / from resorts too! X

I agree… if the squid jerky in Japan hadn’t gone way up in price I was going to get some.
There’s so many good made there options for snacks too
Summer House on the Lake cookies look so much better then Gideon's cookies
Respectfully disagree that Gideon’s cookies are too rich to finish in one sitting. I can put away at least two easily 😂.
I absolutely love those pineapple cream cheese, spring rolls in Pandora!

Of course I said "A whole can?" along with you. LOL!
I hope to eventually try a Gideons cookie. Whenever I go to Disney once a year, and we go to Disney springs, the line is hours long.

Thanks for uncovering these delicious (and sometimes questionable) snacks - can't wait to try them all on my next Disney adventure! 🍭🍦
A whole can??!!!!
I was right there with you 😂
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, AJ !!!! 😍✨️❤️
Was anyone else anticipating that AJ would, at some point in this video, say, "the snack... that smiles back?" 😂
I hate both disney and theme parks but i love watching these videos when im stoned to vicariously fulfill my munchies. thank you dfb❤
I live in England we don't have corn dogs and I want to try one sooooooooooooo hard

I once ordered a Kitchen Sink at Beach Club for myself. Though I never intended to finish it, I came a lot closer than I planned to!
A couple days ago the amorettes petit cakes were qualifying as a snack on the ddp and I was so excited but I think it must have been a glitch 😢
Whatever their slowest sales day is, they should do that for that day!
Never eaten at salt and straw
Went to the crews cup back in I think 2018, really good stuff. Definitely a hidden gem

I think about the Fuzzy TanTan on a weekly basis. The whole drink is so good in my opinion, and I so wish I could make this drink at home😭

Are there any other places that have coffee milkshakes other than The Fountain? Or something similar tasting to it at the parks?
Didn't know you were from Dallas! From one Dallasite Disney fan to another .

Am I the only one who despises Joffrey’s coffee? Yes? No? Ok
I thought Sprinkles were some of the worst cupcakes I’ve ever had. Dry, cloyingly sweet, just not worth the price or hype.
We are staying at yacht club next week. I checked the menu and didn't see the prime rib sliders on the crew club menu?
They're not on the online menu, but they are on the menu at the restaurant -- we've been checking in frequently!

My mom and I would be interested in a recipe for the pineapple mickey cookies
These "snacks" are big enough to be meals! 😅
Gotta be honest that tie dye cheese cake is terrible 😂
Can you please start adding the name of the places you say?
Where are the cream cheese stuffed pretzels now?
I am checking the MDE app and the Prime Rib Sliders are not posted on the menu. Can you confirm they are still available?
for some reason they've never been added to the online menus, but they are there!
Tbh the potato salad mustard ice cream sounds way worse than the bug one though i probably would not eat both
OH I'm feeling very snacky!
AJ--Crew's Cup Lounge does not show the sliders on the menu. Can you confirm?
they are there, promise! the online menu doesn't have them but the in restaurant menu does
@@DFBGuide Thanks! I'm going in June, I definitely want to try these!
I have never been to Disney world 6:41
some of those snacks sound really gross

Les Halls is pronounced 'LAYS all'. In French, H is treated as a vowel under some circumstances, and this is one of them.
The "s" in "Les" is definitely silent...
It’s pronounced “lay ahl” 😉
