The Radahn copium is insane. It makes sense considering the DLC entry requirements. Why is Radahn a requirement otherwise? Because he's a "skill check?" Then WTF does that make Mohg, a considerably harder & later-game boss? They're both required to enter the DLC because they're both involved in the story. Full stop.

When I said "phantom" I wasn't referring to the literal soul/ghost of Godwyn. I was referring to something similar to the spectral "copies" of characters that we find in the main game. The best example being the "phantom" Godfrey we have to fight before fighting Morgoth.

godwyn makes even less sense. people just expected him and gloam-eyed queen. so many theoriessurround those two but Godwyn is the prince of death and him being disturbed would cause cotinuity issues and it would defeat the purpose of those who live in death as well. Miquella probably tried to help him for some end he had in mind but he couldnt cure him. even we the player character have no way of waking him or using some cray method to fight him.

Cowboy said that the last boss is the most difficult boss in the history of From Software. I do not know if Radan is the intended final boss or not. Maybe Radan. It exists, but is it the last leader whose difficulty reviewers talk about?

honestly, i jump on the cope train simply due to the unfinished nature of it, but as time and evidence progressed my cope changed to "hope this is just the early build and there will be a polished version on launch" cause many reviewers that i trust(Fightingcowboy, Iron Pineapple) have stated that the DLC is absolutely the best thing From has made, so that has me relieved to know that the leaks only showed as you said an early build.

Something interesting, the radahn swords ash of war translates to “The king of promises” which I believe to be more in line with “Promised lord” which lines up with the line in some of the promotional material, “Miquella awaits his promised lord.”
It actually makes a lot of sense now... every shard bearers body is left behind after the fight. Rykard's head still alive, Godrick's ungrafted body, Morgot's fragile withered body laying in front of the Erdtree, Rennala still alive to respec, Melania left in the bottom of the Haligtree left to bloom... but Radahn fades away.. and in the DLC is said the Shadow lands is the center of the Lands Between and all things alive and dead wash up and culminate there. I think we were led on our path to fully Kill Radahn on purpose so that Miquella could use him there. Or that is also why Radahn held the festival and wanted to die in battle so bad. Mohg's body also does not stick around. I wonder if that has meaning?
The reason the radahn festival is held is to bring radahn a proper warrior’s death as his soldiers and friend didn’t want him to wander around eating corpses for the rest of his life
I think this boss in rot is the god of rot himself, that's why it's pink. In the lore, the master of malenia sealed the body of the god of rot, which is a scorpion, the place where the body of this God is, is the only place in the entire world of the game, where the scarlet rot has this pink color, and that is much stronger than normal. Just like the one that appears in this boss's arena, which looks like a scorpion. A scarlet rot scorpion. Now how the hell this god ended up in the shadowlands, we'll have to find out. I don’t really see how though, if he has a different move set it’s basically a different fight, and from how ppl described it, it’s extremely hard and he mov3s really fast, which is pretty different from normal radahn who moves moderate speed

To be honest, Messmer fight in Gamerax video look a lot smoother than the leak one, i know it's also the quality of the video but his attack pattern is smoother and more agressive. Now i've a little hope for radahn fight.

I have just seen launch trailer, I think Radahn is pretty sure as boss component. But I think he is more likely Godwyn soul in Radahn's body (as Radahn is using sorcery, not incantation) in similar process to how you copy remembrance that use corpse of other nameless demigods to copy remembrance of other demigod bosses? (Godwyn body does not die, only his soul, so he could not bring back with the same body) This maybe just my compromise copium, we will know for real soon anyway.

Radahn is the mightiest demi god even more so than malenia and miquella is a manipulator but she willingly helped miquella accomplish his goal of becoming a god. His new armor (radahn) explains that malenia during their cinematic fight in the elden ring trailer whispered to radahn that he will be miquellas consort as she nuked him. So they have been planning this for a long time probably since release that radahn would be the main character
bayle the dread will 100% be midir 2.0 as in the annoying hard boss that you spend more time running after him than actually fighting, and mesmer is probably gonna be the gael 2.0 as in the cool hard boss that is super aggressive and have a difficult but fun fight

In the remembrance leak image, there’s a boss that looks EXACTLY how you do in the frenzy flame cutscene. With the fireball head and all. It is wearing the same rags as the impaled enemy in the trailer. It’s definitely Midra. And I feel like the woman in the painting beside him could be Metyr.
So apparently Bayle isn't even a remembrance boss... Fun! Who knows if there wont be any more crazy bosses like that hidden around that weren't includes in the 10 remembrances leak
man all iv been wanting to know is if we get radahn's new armor set. i love that chest piece way more than the fat version in the base game. i always found that version to be too wide especially without the helmet's hair to balance out its silhouette/outline from behind. i also want his new hair with the helmet. those braids on the sides look so epic. i also think we need an ability to alter hair out of some base game armors like the elden crown or even radahn's helmet if people wish amongst others.

I just put this together. So the guy you say you come back to that might transform into the lord of chaos that shows as one of the remembrance. I'm pretty sure that's Vyke. If you pause the gameplay trailer where it shows him tugging the sword thing out of his body, he is burned on his face and head the same as Vyke. The portrait that was shown is Vyke with his finger maiden. I'm almost 100% certain now that guy is Vyke.

Also, that sword combo from Radahns new Remembrance weapon isn't the same one in the leaked fight, the one in the fight looks almost identical to pontiff's while the one with the swords starts kinda like Pontiff but then ecomes completely different when the swords sweeps low instead of the stab pontiff has. It's new
I’m kinda disappointed that it looks like it turns out final boss is real, only because I would have liked it to be marika instead. With 350hrs in base game I would have preferred a totally “new” boss not a different version of previous boss. Still looking forward to the DLC tho

Hm. I hope a unique moveset would be made when i weild both Gravity Radahn and Lord Radahn's Greatswords together. Oh yeah, saw a reddit post recently where they were discussing the Radahn fight. One of Vaati's editor said that the guy who was playing the shittiest way with the worst ass quality, so yeah, Day One patch will be the fix.
I actually don't mind it being true because I really really really like the actual idea of it all and what it entails, lore-wise, as well as for those characters specifically (I know that's where a lot of people take issue, but I personally really don't) - but genuinely the leaked boss battle looked like actual garbage. It ***needs*** Day 1 Patch saving reeeaaaaaal bad. Not just "oh a little fix", no like.... that patch better perform a miracle on that poor battle. Big oooooof. But considering how many people spoke highly of it (I'm starting to wonder if that's even the final boss? Maybe people are talking about Bayle rather than RadhanMiquella? That looked significantly harder) maybe the leaker did genuinely play the game on a different uncompleted build the others didn't play on.
They def aren't talking about Bayle, Noisy Pixels review legit shows footage of Bayle and talks about his fight at length, And in the comments he pretty much comfirms Radahn or something with multiple weapons is the final boss, And that it is alot harder than the final boss of the base game.
@@butterschunkmcdonalds5333 Yeah but that's weird because if you've looked at the leaks then you've seen what that final fight looked like. Did you think that thing looked remotely hard? With Radahn being immobile for a good portion of it, allowing you to freely hit him as much as you want? Like the whole reason why lots of people didn't believe it was real was because it was so janky and easy, and thus didn't feel like an epic last boss battle. That's why I also brought up potential different builds/versions of the review game. Maybe the likes of Noisy Pixels and what not played a more finished version of that fight and thus was much harder. The battle in the leaked footage did not look like "the hardest battle in the whole game by far, no competition"-material.
Also the leaked Radahn fight seemed run on low graphics settings. I had a PC fuck up and I have played the game on very low settings, it does look like that.
I’m excited at the prospect of fighting a unique prime radahn, but fighting Godwyn or the Gloam-Eyed Queen would’ve been so much cooler. I’m also hoping the footage we’ve seen of Radahn is just an older build of the fight. Let’s just wait until Friday, (probably Saturday until normal players without 1-shot mods get there) and have a look at it ourselves. I do admit that I wasn’t thrilled about the final main game boss being the Elden Beast, but that took about an hour for me to get over it, and by now it’s sorta grown on me. How about we all come back for a discussion, positive or negative, once we’ve actually played it. If you’re still mad about it the, so be it, but you’ll at least have a (somewhat) coherent reason behind your dislike.

So much armour on the game looks ugly and stupid imo, especially the helmets. Most of the armour is just chest plates with a different design each time and a cape. How do ds2 and Bloodborne still have the best drip in their games? And the helmets r even worse. Most of them have some random stupid ornament on top that just makes them look stupid.
I don’t remember which review it was but one of them showed a boss named Jon, the inquisitor. I think he may be a remembrance boss because one of his spells that he uses is an incantation the player will get. Idk if u get it before or after beating him.

I only had one hope for the dlc and that was more gravity sorceries because it was the coolest looking magic but it had so absolutely little amount of spells that I hoped the dlc would add more but so far I am only seeing one singular gravity spell that is a bit concerning
Just don’t see how fighting a more tame version of him makes sense? The 2nd phase didn’t seem bad but first phase was underwhelming. Idk man a final boss should probably have more but they said there wasn’t really anything after the defeat so I’m gonna go out on a limb and say there’s more to it. It just does seem out of place… prime radahn could’ve been used elsewhere or in different circumstances like miquella puts us in a dream world and we have to fight previous prime versions of all the gods we fought. THAT would’ve been pretty sick. Pre snek rykard, prime radahn, 2 arm malenia, godwyn, red hair ranni. Would’ve been cool to see them in their real forms. I thought the final boss would be an outer god manifestation as miquella is trying to ascend and get rid of their influence I figure one would have enough of his antics and try to take him out and we come in to stop it with him helping. Gloam queen reincarnated, formless mother I mean any other of the theorized bosses would’ve better to me personally than one we already fought.

Ngl, After watching the leaks, Yall kinda overreacting on this one. The final boss seems fine itself, Its just that whoever the player is fought him in the lamest possible way, Bro didn't take a single swing at the boss, Nor did he once attempt to fight him head on, Bro just summoned a mimic tear and spammed Scarlet Rot spells from a distance till he completely melted the boss, The Mimic took all the grab attacks, Hence why there were several moments where it seemed like the boss was just standing there, It'll look alot different once you, The player are the one getting caught by his attacks, I seen the Messmer fight as well, He did the exact same thing there too as well lol, Just spammed Rot from a distance while the Mimic did all the work. Both bosses will be an entirely different fight if you fight them head on, Especially with no summons, Overall I'm actually pretty stoked for these bosses now!

godwyn makes even less sense. people just expected him and gloam-eyed queen. so many theoriessurround those two but Godwyn is the prince of death and him being disturbed would cause cotinuity issues and it would defeat the purpose of those who live in death as well. Miquella probably tried to help him for some end he had in mind but he couldnt cure him. even we the player character have no way of waking him or using some cray method to fight him.

honestly, i jump on the cope train simply due to the unfinished nature of it, but as time and evidence progressed my cope changed to "hope this is just the early build and there will be a polished version on launch" cause many reviewers that i trust(Fightingcowboy, Iron Pineapple) have stated that the DLC is absolutely the best thing From has made, so that has me relieved to know that the leaks only showed as you said an early build.

Something interesting, the radahn swords ash of war translates to “The king of promises” which I believe to be more in line with “Promised lord” which lines up with the line in some of the promotional material, “Miquella awaits his promised lord.”

It actually makes a lot of sense now... every shard bearers body is left behind after the fight. Rykard's head still alive, Godrick's ungrafted body, Morgot's fragile withered body laying in front of the Erdtree, Rennala still alive to respec, Melania left in the bottom of the Haligtree left to bloom... but Radahn fades away.. and in the DLC is said the Shadow lands is the center of the Lands Between and all things alive and dead wash up and culminate there. I think we were led on our path to fully Kill Radahn on purpose so that Miquella could use him there. Or that is also why Radahn held the festival and wanted to die in battle so bad.
Mohg's body also does not stick around. I wonder if that has meaning?
The reason the radahn festival is held is to bring radahn a proper warrior’s death as his soldiers and friend didn’t want him to wander around eating corpses for the rest of his life

I think this boss in rot is the god of rot himself, that's why it's pink. In the lore, the master of malenia sealed the body of the god of rot, which is a scorpion, the place where the body of this God is, is the only place in the entire world of the game, where the scarlet rot has this pink color, and that is much stronger than normal. Just like the one that appears in this boss's arena, which looks like a scorpion. A scarlet rot scorpion. Now how the hell this god ended up in the shadowlands, we'll have to find out.

To be honest, Messmer fight in Gamerax video look a lot smoother than the leak one, i know it's also the quality of the video but his attack pattern is smoother and more agressive. Now i've a little hope for radahn fight.

I have just seen launch trailer, I think Radahn is pretty sure as boss component. But I think he is more likely Godwyn soul in Radahn's body (as Radahn is using sorcery, not incantation) in similar process to how you copy remembrance that use corpse of other nameless demigods to copy remembrance of other demigod bosses? (Godwyn body does not die, only his soul, so he could not bring back with the same body) This maybe just my compromise copium, we will know for real soon anyway.

Radahn is the mightiest demi god even more so than malenia and miquella is a manipulator but she willingly helped miquella accomplish his goal of becoming a god.
His new armor (radahn) explains that malenia during their cinematic fight in the elden ring trailer whispered to radahn that he will be miquellas consort as she nuked him.
So they have been planning this for a long time probably since release that radahn would be the main character

In the remembrance leak image, there’s a boss that looks EXACTLY how you do in the frenzy flame cutscene. With the fireball head and all. It is wearing the same rags as the impaled enemy in the trailer. It’s definitely Midra. And I feel like the woman in the painting beside him could be Metyr.

man all iv been wanting to know is if we get radahn's new armor set. i love that chest piece way more than the fat version in the base game. i always found that version to be too wide especially without the helmet's hair to balance out its silhouette/outline from behind. i also want his new hair with the helmet. those braids on the sides look so epic. i also think we need an ability to alter hair out of some base game armors like the elden crown or even radahn's helmet if people wish amongst others.

Oh yeah, saw a reddit post recently where they were discussing the Radahn fight. One of Vaati's editor said that the guy who was playing the shittiest way with the worst ass quality, so yeah, Day One patch will be the fix.
I actually don't mind it being true because I really really really like the actual idea of it all and what it entails, lore-wise, as well as for those characters specifically (I know that's where a lot of people take issue, but I personally really don't) - but genuinely the leaked boss battle looked like actual garbage. It ***needs*** Day 1 Patch saving reeeaaaaaal bad. Not just "oh a little fix", no like.... that patch better perform a miracle on that poor battle. Big oooooof.
But considering how many people spoke highly of it (I'm starting to wonder if that's even the final boss? Maybe people are talking about Bayle rather than RadhanMiquella? That looked significantly harder) maybe the leaker did genuinely play the game on a different uncompleted build the others didn't play on.
They def aren't talking about Bayle, Noisy Pixels review legit shows footage of Bayle and talks about his fight at length, And in the comments he pretty much comfirms Radahn or something with multiple weapons is the final boss, And that it is alot harder than the final boss of the base game.

With Radahn being immobile for a good portion of it, allowing you to freely hit him as much as you want? Like the whole reason why lots of people didn't believe it was real was because it was so janky and easy, and thus didn't feel like an epic last boss battle. That's why I also brought up potential different builds/versions of the review game. Maybe the likes of Noisy Pixels and what not played a more finished version of that fight and thus was much harder. The battle in the leaked footage did not look like "the hardest battle in the whole game by far, no competition"-material.
Also the leaked Radahn fight seemed run on low graphics settings. I had a PC fuck up and I have played the game on very low settings, it does look like that.
I’m excited at the prospect of fighting a unique prime radahn, but fighting Godwyn or the Gloam-Eyed Queen would’ve been so much cooler. I’m also hoping the footage we’ve seen of Radahn is just an older build of the fight. so Malenia goes and fights Radahn into a stalemate meanwhile Mogh kidnaps Miquella then we finish off Radahn which gives Miquella the opportunity to use Moghs body to put Radahn soul inside it? does that work or does the kidnapping part not make sense? the reason why we don't get a Godwyn fight is because Ranni destroyed his soul but also that Miquella made a promise to Radahn that he'll be his consort because he is such a brave warrior etc. ... or did Miquella and Malenia plot to kill Radahn so Miquella could acquire his soul to put in a puppet (Mogh) but plan failed which is why he's in a cocoon in Moghs palace waiting for someone to kill Radahn

Dude, I hate the internet community. Overly toxic because something isn’t how they imagined or wanted it to be, without ever having tried it out. Let’s just wait until Friday, (probably Saturday until normal players without 1-shot mods get there) and have a look at it ourselves. I do admit that I wasn’t thrilled about the final main game boss being the Elden Beast, but that took about an hour for me to get over it, and by now it’s sorta grown on me.
How about we all come back for a discussion, positive or negative, once we’ve actually played it. If you’re still mad about it the, so be it, but you’ll at least have a (somewhat) coherent reason behind your dislike.

So much armour on the game looks ugly and stupid imo, especially the helmets. Most of the armour is just chest plates with a different design each time and a cape. How do ds2 and Bloodborne still have the best drip in their games? And the helmets r even worse. Most of them have some random stupid ornament on top that just makes them look stupid.
I don’t remember which review it was but one of them showed a boss named Jon, the inquisitor. I think he may be a remembrance boss because one of his spells that he uses is an incantation the player will get. Idk if u get it before or after beating him.
I remember many wanted to fight prime Radahn! Now I see many complaining but imo Im hyped as hell as long as his move sets are new & fresh! His size though kinda has me puzzled considering he was big even before getting his rune after shattering so why is he smaller now?

People who got the review copy and already beat the dlc said that it's the best fromsoft content and that's all what i want to hear , id need to hear you all crying about 1 boss you haven't even fought
I only had one hope for the dlc and that was more gravity sorceries because it was the coolest looking magic but it had so absolutely little amount of spells that I hoped the dlc would add more but so far I am only seeing one singular gravity spell that is a bit concerning

Just don’t see how fighting a more tame version of him makes sense? The 2nd phase didn’t seem bad but first phase was underwhelming. Idk man a final boss should probably have more but they said there wasn’t really anything after the defeat so I’m gonna go out on a limb and say there’s more to it. It just does seem out of place… prime radahn could’ve been used elsewhere or in different circumstances like miquella puts us in a dream world and we have to fight previous prime versions of all the gods we fought. THAT would’ve been pretty sick. Pre snek rykard, prime radahn, 2 arm malenia, godwyn, red hair ranni. Would’ve been cool to see them in their real forms. I thought the final boss would be an outer god manifestation as miquella is trying to ascend and get rid of their influence I figure one would have enough of his antics and try to take him out and we come in to stop it with him helping. Gloam queen reincarnated, formless mother I mean any other of the theorized bosses would’ve better to me personally than one we already fought.

Ngl, After watching the leaks, Yall kinda overreacting on this one. The final boss seems fine itself, Its just that whoever the player is fought him in the lamest possible way, Bro didn't take a single swing at the boss, Nor did he once attempt to fight him head on, Bro just summoned a mimic tear and spammed Scarlet Rot spells from a distance till he completely melted the boss, The Mimic took all the grab attacks, Hence why there were several moments where it seemed like the boss was just standing there, It'll look alot different once you, The player are the one getting caught by his attacks, I seen the Messmer fight as well, He did the exact same thing there too as well lol, Just spammed Rot from a distance while the Mimic did all the work. Both bosses will be an entirely different fight if you fight them head on, Especially with no summons, Overall I'm actually pretty stoked for these bosses now!

Im sorry but reusing a boss as the FINAL boss of the dlc is weak asl. don’t care about it lore implications it’s just lame. This is a fromsoft final dlc. We’ve had some of the craziest bosses ever created in the dlc. Manus, orphan, Gael. Its just feels very lame
