Hi. I just subscribed, it was fun hearing you both talk in different languages. I am studying, spanish and german, how do you prioritise the learning of the languages?
Hi Jonas! It really depends on the amount of time you can invest, but I always suggest to prioritize one language until reaching a solid fluency level, before switching priorities. Especially for people that can only study languages in their spare time that would make the most sense. I suggest a 80/20 split with at least 5 days/week of at least 1 hour per day in order to get quick results. If you want me to go more into detail, let me know. I personally spend around 2 hours per day during the week on languages, with 4-5 hours per day on the weekends and I consistently study 7 days/per week, which gives me really fast results. I can watch and understand movies and the news, so I maintain the spanish with that whilst I study german and trying to get it up to the same level. I also study about 1hr a day or so, it is fun.
@@jonasmark2009 That's awesome! I'm recently getting really into using LanguageReactor when watching movies in foreign languages, it's really helpful to acquire new vocab, as long as you do it on your pc/laptop!
Я думаю то, что вы ассоциировали слово "стыдно" со словом "stupid" - это будет вам создавать проблемы эмоциональной предвзятости, потому что эмоционально, в вашем подсознании, зафиксируется связь между этими словами и негативные ассоциации.. Ведь каждый раз, вспоминая слово "стыдно", вы будете вспоминать "stupid"-контекст и этот негативный образ будет проецироваться на такие ситуации, где негатива не должно быть.
I totally get you, I feel like that a lot when I speak the languages that I don't feel comfortable in. It's part of the process though, I'd suggest to rather focus on those little success moments for every word that you DO understand :) Keep at it, learn more vocabulary and soon you'll feel better about it :)
Ich glaube mich noch von meiner Kindheit an diese Redensweise zu erinnern, als die Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter noch keine Thematik war. Das sagt einfach das früher der Plural "Studenten" für beide Geschlechter galt. Heutzutage kann man ohne Probleme "Studentinnen" sagen, allerdings ziehen manche Leute den Geschlechtneutralen Begriff "die Studierenden" vor. Eine meiner Bekannten hat mich kürzlich gefragt warum es die "Mannschaft" gibt (the team) aber nicht die "Frauschaft" 😁

К примеру человек ошибся и ему стыдно, потому что он скромный. А в результате он будет ощущаться глупым.
