I read a book about food combinations 30 years ago but it was so hard to implement because in my country all good tasting foods are combined protein + starches. I missed cheese in my sandwiches etc… the only thing I took away was fruits. I always ate fruits on an empty stomach. 15 years ago I got married and my husband had so many digestive issues. I told him try to eat fruits only on an empty stomach because they digest easily and if they are sitting on top of other foods they will ferment and be re absorbed into your blood and it’s disgusting. Just doing this has improved his digestion by 80%. I will try this again now that I am older.
Great video!! Especially that fruit chart helped me a lot 🙏. Ma'am I have seen Dr nk Sharma's video, he says tomato, tamarind, lemon etc which are acidic doesn't go well with grains. Can you explain this?
People freak out when I tell them to eat fruit alone. The media made them terrified of spiking glucose, and has gotten way out of hand. I can not mix fruit with anything and if I do I will get bloated and have issues. What about fat? Can fat be mixed with starches?
Thank you for this video. Can I combine berries, papaya,, and fresh coconut milk in a smoothie? Does papaya fall under the melons group due to it's texture?
Hare Krishna, you explained it really well, just few queries - 1. Can nut based curds be taken with simple satvic meals like chappati and sabzi 2. Can soaked dried fruits like figs, raisins and dates be consumed with fruit? 3. Certain nuts like pistachios are not recommended to be soaked then how to use them? 4. Can we mix vegetable sprouts like alfalfa, clover, methi with nuts in raw salads? Since sprouted moong beans and nuts are not recommended to be mixed. Will be really grateful if you can take some time out to answer these whenever free, thank you for considering. Much love and best wishes for the amazing work you are doing. 🌿
Hare Krishna, 1. yes, but its quite heavy, hence small qty should be taken.. better to dilute with water.. we dont need to consume curds on a regular basis.. nut based curds should be treated as a transition food 2. yes. 3. lightly roast, or if having a small qty, occasionally its ok to eat raw.. 4. yes
These combinations are to be followed by all.. for weight gain you can have boiled and cooled potatoes in between meels. Or try a cashew+ banana + dates smoothie. A plant based healthy diet should be followed

@@PriyankaNJain is it okay to have a piece of dark chocolate from time to time. Is it harmful to the body or it’s ok? Cacao is a fruit that grows on a tree. Also used to make chocolate
Mam pls suggest which way to consume activated peanut butter. I am finding it hard to include it in my diet because of its taste and unable to think of any right food combination with it
check my recent video of salad dressing.. i add that to salads or steamed vegetables.. you can also make smoothie of activated peanut butter with dates and banana. since banana is dense fruit and peanuts are activated, this is good combination.
@@PriyankaNJain thanks so much for clarifying ma'am. Checking out those videos right away. However, one more doubt I have, it seems like we will be needing to add water to the smoothie for the ingredients to blend. So is it okay to blend water with a butter mam?
You don't need to have everything in everymeal.. if lunch is protein based, have dinner that's heavy in carbs. And there is some carb in everything - even in vegetables, so if you have a big bowl of salad for lunch with lots of nuts and sprouts, it's good enough.
What about coconut or oat milk with pasta or dals. It's commonly used in recipes. Also is it ok to cook coconut milk. It was mentioned somewhere that it turns into cholesterol if cooked. Is that correct in ur opinion?
these are ok to add.. daals/rajma/chickpeas become starchy when cooked and can be eaten with other starch. ideally fats should not be cooked and coconut milk can be added towards the end after turning the stove off.. but sometimes its ok to cook on low heat if you really need to for some recipe. check this video for more details - ruclips.net/video/Za7JXUzSCro/видео.html
@@PriyankaNJainSo tofu or peanut butter should go with starchy food since when we make tofu then the soy or chickpeas gets cooked and peanut is also roasted..? Also what about fermented nut cheese like cashew or peanut cheese. Is that any better if used in combo with starch.. And what if cashew is cooked before we make cheese out of it, does that make it different in nature like withthe Daals (turning into starch on being cooked) Ideally I wouldn't cook cashew but just wondering if that makes any difference..
