Peter in the end understands that trying to live double life will destroy both him and his close family and friends so he leaves mj. Next movie they explore that concept even with existential ideas and personal struggle more but I don’t understand why they made Peter clueless to why he can’t have mj. That’s why romance was awkward compared to amazing Spider-Man movies. 3rd movie was a mess because they tried to squeeze venom into it. They could do a cliffhanger with Eddie getting the symbiote at the end while concluding the sandman Spider-Man Harry Osborne situation with much more screen time without overwhelming the plot. Sandman gets introduced but practically forgotten about until the end when he has team up with Venom. Look, I like the movie, but what did Harry's amnesia have a role to play? Peter and him end up fighting again anyways, so was brain wiping for a little bit really necessary?

Danny Elfman's work on this trilogy is something truly magical. Every theme for each character felt so distinct, powerful and conveyed the entire story just by listening to it. I'm no music expert but I personally interpret the black suit theme as initially conveying Peter's sense of newfound power with the french horns but then it gets darker, signaling the nefarious intents Peter intends to use this power for - leading him down a path of violence and vengeance. *Edit:* Spider-Man 3's score specifically was composed by Christopher Young and not Danny Elfman. Thanks for the replies that reminded me.

The Original Trilogy has one of the best Scores I've ever heard. I get chills from watching the movies because of how good the music is.

Danny Elfman's work on this trilogy is something truly magical. Every theme for each character felt so distinct, powerful and conveyed the entire story just by listening to it. I'm no music expert but I personally interpret the black suit theme as initially conveying Peter's sense of newfound power with the french horns but then it gets darker, signaling the nefarious intents Peter intends to use this power for - leading him down a path of violence and vengeance.
*Edit:* Spider-Man 3's score specifically was composed by Christopher Young and not Danny Elfman. Thanks for the replies that reminded me.

You're right, I totally forgot it was Christopher Young because he brought such a familiar sensibility to the score that I have to remind myself every time. Doesn't help that lots of tracks composed by Danny from the first two films return.
