For those wondering, the show was cancelled because of ownership reasons. Sony originally made the show, but when Disney bought Marvel, they couldn’t continue to show anymore since it was a Sony original and not a Disney original. It just got really complicated so the show was cancelled. A season 3 was actually originally planned, but we all know how that turned out. Who knows, maybe one day a miracle will happen and we will see this amazing show return

It's Criminal how this show got cancelled after only 2 Seasons, it has so much potential if they ever decided to bring it back and then we could finally get to see what happened to Peter after his' luck went to Hell, they even had Cletus Kasady as a cameo in one of the Xmas episodes as a potential future Carnage.

I read in one of the episodes descriptions (I forgot which), He has a hero showdown with The Human Torch. Of course he didn’t, but supposedly the writers didn’t have the go to include him so they forgot to remove it from the episodes description. So they went with all spiderman villains, no other heroes. Also if you want another cool all-spidey show, check out Spider-Man The New Animated Series voiced by NPH. He does a really well job and the show can be a bit dark sometimes which is something I love. That not everything is kid friendly when fighting villains. Definitely one of my favorite takes of Spider-Man
@@gap1152 yeah, as much as I love seeing Spider-Man team up with other heroes, a lot of the times, he kind of gets shoved off to the side with bigger and stronger heroes taking the limelight. The only time this hasn't bugged me is the mcu, because it's meant to do that, it's meant to be an origin story of Peter Parker finding himself, and by the end of no way home, he has found himself.

I am SO late, but I just realized why this theme feels so cohesive.
The rock aesthetic fits with Peter's identity as a high-schooler yet it's energetic and impactful, signifying his presence as a superhero. Not only that, but the iconic Guitar riff, most present here: 2:05 are a series of echoing notes, the strings are on full display.
You get the sense that the strings are being plucked or disturbed, in much the same way a spider would traverse a web.

This is what I love about Spider-Man themes, they tend to make sound effects and tunes that are supposed to describe him being a spider.
Batman the Animated Series was the definitive batman cartoon.
Superman the Animated Series was the definitive superman cartoon.
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes was Avengers definitive cartoon.
Justice League Unlimited was the definitive Justice League cartoon.
Teen Titans, (2003), was the definitive Teen Titans cartoon.
X-Men The Animated Series and X-Men Evolution were the definitive X-Men cartoons.
Both Clone Wars cartoons were the definitive Star Wars cartoons.
And THIS was the definitive Spider-Man cartoon.

To be honest, it never left. There's quite a few modern shows that have genuinely great theme songs that fit their tone just as well IMO. Animaniacs (2020), The Loud House, Gravity Falls and Milo Murphy's Law just to name a few

Idk about you but I feel like transformers Prime fits into that. The writers had so many ideas and new characters planned but they were cut off so they only had one more season to work with. There was so much more that could’ve happened.
