The bit that gets me is the fact the glass broke - miles was having trouble the whole way through the show because he couldn't relax to de-stick, and he's still tense when he jumps, but does it anyway. To me, that's what makes "What's Up, Danger" the perfect track for it, because he's aware that in that moment there's a strong chance he'll die, and couldn't fully let go, but was ready to put it on the line even so.
@@Cenitopius thata true actually good point! Even at that moment, he's scared out of his mind before taking the leap and once he finally does it and realises he can, his confidence and adaptability grows as shown by the bump in frame rate. One of my favorite parts of the movie, aside from well... ALL of it... was the parallel shots where early on he was falling and he was yelling AAAAAAAAHH with the letters on screen framed by the buildings. Then later on when he came into his own, he went UP and was saying WOOOOOO! with the letters going up framed by the buildings. It was such a great callback scene, and probably something a lot of people might miss or forget about, but they did it anyway. God I can't wait to watch this movie again!
Can I just say what a great year it’s been for Spider-Man! Infinity War, PS4, and now this amazing movie. It’s nice to see this character finally getting some decent representation outside of comics. Now if they could make another good show like Spectacular Spider-Man, I’ll die happy.
It's the "so let me just give up, so let me just let go" and " let me just stop trying..." that gets me every time. I'm 18 years old but my mindset is five years ahead. I tend to pretend that I'm still a child. But I'll still do my best for the people that I love.
If you think about it that's kinda accurate since his uncles death was the thing that really made him a hero The thing that made him Spiderman The thing that made Stan proud Sorry for being all symbolic Have a great day
The part when Miles just jumps off the building, glass breaking effects, pure silence, upside down camera angle, far-view camera work, Miles doing a Backflip, music saying “like what’s up danger” is honestly the most bad-ass scene I’ve ever seen in an animated movie Edit:3k likes? A teenage boy kpop fanatic like me achieving 3k likes? thanks guys💖saranghae💖💖
Have you seen the screen play for the upsode down scene though?? That stuff brought me to tears. It was like "Miles is not falling in this frame instead he is RISING"
Stan was great but it's annoying that people pretend he was the sole creator of spider man. Steve ditko was the artist who drew him and who his looks was based off of. Sadly Steve died alone in his apartment the same year stan did and wasn't found for a few days. It takes more than one person to make a comic usually.

However, instead of being played when something villanious is happening, it's Miles about to do something Heroic (I think they even add a Heroic Brass section in the film). It's like Miles is taking both his role models, his father and uncle, and combining their lessons to do something greater.
Honestly feel like I could write an essay of how brilliant this song and how it is used in the film. Like it is a perfect summation of how Miles might be feeling or feels like he needs to become

2019 was so bleak to me , yet i was addicted to this song , kept playing it in my head throughout all the depressive moments i went through , my grandfather suffered from lung cancer when he was 92 years old , while i suffered from a very strong flu and i had to take syringes to recover , beside the intense loneliness , i spent most the summer holiday alone without visiting or texting any of my friends , and after i recovered i thought I'll go back vigorous and happy again until one day at midnight my grandmother called my father telling him that grandfather passed away and she was crying , next day attended to his funeral and burial , came back to my home very exhausted from the hours i spent seeing my family members crying and forcefully going to the church and repeating prayers to my grandfather after the bishop , and eventually i shed tears remembering him , when i used to remember these memories this song was just stuck in my head , it really helped to overcome the depression i went through that year as a 13 years old
