This looks like a REALLY good update!!! Better ranked points distribution and immediately transitioning to replays from a battle are going to make learning and improving in ranked so much smoother
Agreed and this will trigger better skill developmentin players like myself because sometimes we all can agree that we feel so lethargic to go back to the main menu to learn the punishment/options

Prowess-based match making STILL needs to be removed entirely or prowess needs to be reworked completely. There is no reason prowess should be used for match making, please address this. You guys haven't even addressed this, just silently rolled it and hoped nobody would notice. There are way too many issues with this current system. On a positive note, I love pretty much everything about these updates. Great work !

Harada please add a section in practice mode where you can add and save favorite moves from the moves list for any character so you can access them on fly quickly and don't have to go looking for ages a specific move you want to practice from the moves list for a character.

Story mode has ruined the entire game!!! Want to know why? Ever character's future or destiny is already predestined by this... That is why the keep nerfing and buffing your characters to stay true to their predestined or pre-ordained story mode/outcome!!! Doesn't that spoil it folks!!! Your politics ruined the game and made it too serious by doing this... Old Tekken Story mode was fine until you all "DEVELOPERS" began to take you politics into your DNA.... Love you all but, you messed it up...
Dont worry bro . the characters that died in tekken 8 story mode will eventually return in 9 as dlcs . Just like heihachi. Fighting game lores dont make sense . Its not that serious .

Let's not blame the developers, but blame today's generation of gamers. They hate things being too difficult, and developers just want their games to last for years and be remembered. The best way to do it is to make it appealing to the new gen. It sucks and makes it cheesy for O.G fans but what can we do? We should be happy that they're even putting in so much effort for the game unlike other developers.
Heat system makes t8 it's in the very foundation of the game m not a big fan as well but m getting used to it by now if you don't like it you can always play t7.😊
1:25:59 i wonder if we'll ever get the option to use costumes bought in the tekken store in the main menu. sounds like it took a lot of work just getting the preset costumes, so i have my doubts. it'd be pretty cool to have see the classic costumes in such high visual fidelity tho.

Side selection doesn't matter at all when searching for a match. The game just inverts the camera for one of you if both players choose the same side.
