not sure what everyone is talking about here, I can't understand most of what he is saying. I can tell he is singing Ace of Base, are there that many fans still?
I'll never forget meeting John Darnielle. I asked him how he got discovered, and he told me that music was not his first love, that it was something he got into without any plans to make it a career, and that he was looking forward to returning to nursing when his music fling was over. He chastised me for wanting to be a professional musician and accused me of being greedy for money and fame. It was incredibly bizarre, and it left me disillusioned. I still like the Mountain Goats, though.
He sings the verse wrong, he messes up the ending, the camera shakes, and yet, this video still catches a most magical moment. Tremendous.
John Darnielle makes me want to love the whole world and then some.
This made my heart grow three sizes this day.
You can't give enough money to the Ace of Bass!!!
I have the recording of this to now have the visual is heaven sent

The moment at 1:42 is really just the best thing ever.
That's my favorite band!
I bought this album too. I was like 12 years old, and I saw the sign.

The story itself kinda feels like a song.

Two people hate joy.
What am I missing? I don't understand why everyone likes this so much.
