It was sooo mismarketed and I’m SO HAPPY it’s getting the recognition it deeserves too, like it was targeted at horny reddit neckbeard virgins who fetishize lesbians when it should’ve been targeted at horror thriller fans and just women in general
Dude, good trivia, I totally did not know that... Wonder if that's actually for nutrition/energy/calories, or just for some health/biological information/feedback...? Interesting though! 👍 (No doubt, this particular incident WAS for the calories... Or better yet, the blood-borne prescription drugs!! 🤣👌)
@Miguel Messina that's the more recent episodes. The older episodes shows them being actual best friends. Ever since Steven Hillenburg became executive producer, the show became more one dimensional and lost its touch. It's especially gone down hill when he passed away in 2018.
I love that the director's cut includes Colin's funeral. It really is a heartbreaking moment and seals in how the people of the town have been sensationalizing and romanticizing these deaths, even in front of Colin's own mother.
So happy to see this movie get the honor of getting a cut comparison. Thanks for putting out this type of content even though it doesn't really get that many views.
If anything yeah, the Unrated Version practically acts like Needy's perspective on the whole thing, which I actually like more than some drastic changes other cuts would have done.
i like the unrated but i feel like it has too much comedic relief but i mean it is like a comedy horror but i feel like the theatrical honestly gains more sympathy for Jennifer and needy. like i felt actually sad after seeing the theatrical version but then watched the unrated and realized why ti didn’t get as much recognition back then. one, because it was ahead of its time but two bc the cuts added a different feeling to the movie no doubt.
Army of Darkness has four cuts including the theatrical cut, the director's cut, the European cut and the TV cut which all of them are in the scream factory blu ray.
You're joking, there's four cuts of that movie?! Well doesn't look like we'll be getting that cut comparison till probably July or even later maybe. I mean look at how long it took between the cut comparison video and the last one. Either way though I'm enjoying having this series and the rankings back man.
@@jaredcutright3015 Even if we take our the TV cut due to it technically never meant to be officially released and isn't even in HD, that's still 3 versions of movies to compare.

It would be funny if the Army of Darkness cut comparison did multiple videos like this: 1. Theatrical vs alternate cut 1 2. Theatrical vs alternate cut 2 3. The alternate cuts
Still doesn't fix the movie's biggest flaw. More important, a director's cut is not always the director's cut. Remember the director's cut of Blade Runner?
i'm so glad the cut comparison is making a return, i found the idea so cool in 2018 and these new ones are so cool to watch as i personally find film editing and different versions of films to be an interesting topic
James hits a rare balance of reminding me that analytics matter without seeming like he's asking for any more support than I would naturally provide. I'll actually pull the video back up if I forgot to like or comment.
Fantastic video, hell yes! I gotta say, if you think Army Of Darkness is insane when it comes to cuts, Dawn Of The Dead might have it beat. There are three official cuts, Theatrical, Director's, and Argento's, a semi-official German cut that puts together all the footage, various censored versions for different TV networks or regions that have stricter violence-in-film restrictions, and the Extended Mall Hours fan cut, which is like the German cut, all 159 minutes or so of footage, but with slightly better editing (in my amateur opinion) to put everything together and is my preferred way to watch the film. Dawn Of The Dead MIGHT have the most versions of any film out there.
During my first year of film school we actually read the final draft of the script for Jennifer’s Body for a class. It’s interesting seeing how much closer the Unrated Cut is to the script, especially since I hadn’t seen either cut until after I’d read the script.
When James eventually does the kill count for Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge and he does his "to the numbers" gag, since it might be his first animated film on the kill count, he should snap his fingers and become a cartoon. Then he would try to pull his cheek to see if cartoon logic would let him stretch it only for it to backfire and he would accidentally rip his cheek off and gushing blood
@@rodian_skypyratz6181 it has horror elements and a lot of murder. If he can kill count Mortal Kombat then he can sure as hell kill count Who Framed Roger Rabbit
