    I went to a comp averaging 17 and got to second round with 48th place out of 150. My friend who averages 21 made ti to second round and got around 77th place, which allowed him to make it the second round 5:50

    yeah I agree with what you said about podium, in my first comp, I just made final round (12/40) with a 17.72 average, but in a bigger comp, I came 89th lol

    4:50 during my first comp, during 4x4, I accidentally replaced the spots of my warm-up and my main. They got switched to I had to switch back before my final solve.

      ag gaming This is late, but say these were your times: 8.78, 10.72, 18.51, 12.11, and 10.99. You’d take out the best and worst, and write them in parentheses: (8.78), 10.72, (18.51), 12.11, 10.99. Average together the times not in parentheses. Your average of 5 is 11.27

    skewb is also really easy to get good at, all you have to do is learn intermediate, and the z perm and h perm skip cases, and you can easily be sub 5 with that, if you do around 100 solves a day. istill use that for most of my solves, and I average around 3.3

    So, uh.... Everyone's saying that learning full OLL isn't that necessary for being really fast, but super-fast cubers are often said to know hundreds of algorithms. What algorithms do they know if full OLL isn't necessarily part of those hundreds of algs?

    I think clock is the easiest event to get good at in terms of world rankings. You can literally just practice a lot for 2 weeks and get top 1000. And you don't even need to learn any algs

    I average about 18-20 seconds and got 3 nine second solves and 1 seven second solve. Is this normal because my average and my age 11 years old I think it’s pretty good

    I'm a newbie when it comes to cubing. I have a lot to learn as I only know a beginners algorithm at the moment. Anyway... what software are you using in the background here?
