Good content! Btw, I already have this card but the lounge access is limited to domestic. Would you know the difference between this BPI VISA Signature vs. BPI Mastercard Platinum especially when it comes to airport lounges and other benefits? Thanks in advance and more power +more subs!! 👍🏼😊
the BPI MC Platinum gives you free subscription to Priority Pass. But only the subscription. But having a subscription gives you access to many lounges internationally for $32 only which typically is around $60-$70 per pax without it (assuming you don't have access via another methods such as business class ticket or airline alliance VIP status).
Can you make a video also about the credit cards you currently have, personal ranking about the cards as well as the perks bundled with it and other recommendations as well. Thanks Btw, by far you have the coolest and chill credit card reviews I've seen on youtube.
I watched your video about the Citi Premiermiles. If you could pick 1 between this BPI Visa Signature and the Citi Premiermiles, which would you pick? I’m not really familiar with their perks but from what I’ve gathered, Citi Premiermiles has more airline affiliates but BPI has the better exchange rate. Premiermiles earns you 1 mile = 48 pesos while BPI Visa Signature 1 mile = 50 pesos. I already have a BDO Gold Mastercard and I’m looking to get another credit card, these two are at the top of my list. Btw, I’m so happy I came across your channel. Keep making good content! Subscribed! :) P. S. This is silly but after watching your videos I’m curious how many credit cards you have? and what is your most favorite credit card?
Thanks for Subscribing! Appreciate it 🙏🏻 If I was in your position I'd go for the Citi PremierMiles because 1. Easier to get approved imo 2. Citibank mobile app is better and more seamless 3. Converting PremierMiles to Airline partners online is extremely quick and easy compared to BPI where you have to call or email. 4. Slightly better points to miles ratio 5. Slightly cheaper Annual fee (assuming you don't get it waived) 6. Citi PremierMiles has current sign up bonus of 30,000 miles (I'll put a referral link below!) Help me get an e-gift lol Also since you have the BDO Gold you can use that for your online spend since its 2.5% foreign conversion fee? If I'm not mistaken. Was planning to make a video about that just been really busy haha watch out for it! www.citibank.com.ph/share-rewards/?media=3794446825&scode=RBSCBOLB&ecid=MGCPBPHCCAENRF
BPI Visa Signature is a good looking card though. :) Any idea if BPI's 1.85 FTF is better than a BDO's Dual Currency feature? I'm torn between BPI Gold Mastercard and BDO Gold Visa. Currently have the Citi Premieremiles and looking for another CC for my foreign purchases. Not a fan of EWB Haha!
It really depends since for BDO's Dual Currency you'll have the option to pay the exact amount in US Dollar or pay in Philippine Peso using the exchange rate during payment for international transactions.
@@geraldquintos4421 Yeah, maybe I'll stay with my BPI first hahaha! Kinda hassle to have some bills exchanged if I'm short with other currencies. Anyways, thanks man! :)
@@geraldquintos4421 oh. Trust me, I would, too... But recently I quit my job to focus on "something," so I'm currently unable to make purchases, and travel as I used to. Plus, I'm not in the position to afford its high annual fees rn that I'm unemployed😅
Hey Charles! Make sure you look into some things before applying. Things like the length you've been banking with BPI, type of relationship you have with them like savings lang ba or maybe you have some loans or time deposits with them as well. Of course make sure you meet the minimum annual income for the card (you can ask them how much depending on the card if not already mentioned). Don't get discouraged! Just give it some time before you apply again. The bank will think you're desperate if masyadong malapit time frame ng pagka apply mo. You can try going for a secured credit card, those are super rare na ma decline. Then from there you can build up your credit history :)
@@geraldquintos4421 hi! Thank you . Yeah i have savings account with them. I already reviewed their application requirement. Been with them since 2018. Probably thats the reason why? But thank you for your reply. Been watching your vlogs since august. 😊
@@CharlesRamiroLee try applying for secured credit card. They'll hold some of your money and 80-90 percent of that will be your credit limit. No background check. They'll stop holding your funds some time soon just pay on time. No background check for this. You can avail different type of credit cards. In front of food court in sm megamall, bpi offers secured credit card there.
@@norencetan4879 Its the general basis of the bank but it depends. If you call (and be nice) they will consider it even if you you didn't necessarily reach the 600k spend in the year. Just make sure you're never late on payments and have good credit standing. So sometimes its a hit or miss but no harm in trying!
