Im in Bangkok right now and its been 1 week and I got 1 week to go. Subbed to you cause you actually eat all the so called "bad/nasty" parts of an animal AND you speak Thai! Major props!
Hey Gary! I'm Thai. I just moved to BKK from Chiang Rai and I have no idea where to eat. You are my Go-to youtuber for local hidden gem restaurants. I will definitely try these restaurants. Hope to bump into you one day in BKK. Love your work.
I think you`r next level food discribing, it is always a pleasure to hear the ingredients. Kap khun mak ka 🙏any soup or dish is my fav. Lol😋Cant wait to go back to Thailand.... have you ever been to Ranong ? we had the most delish experience in a soup stall away from tourist places, we eated 2 bowls ! I Love Thailand food & your work Gary✌🔥💛
Dude, I only just realised that the noodle shop you went to was not far from Wat Mangkon (i didn't realise Phrom Phong was THAT close) near where I stayed on my first leg in Bangkok, during my sabbatical. I stayed at the W22 by Burasari. The rooms themselves were pretty basic, but the hotel interior was one of the most interesting I've ever seen, and was probably in my top 5 hotels out of the 30+ that I stayed in. Anyway, I"m curious to find out if you've been to any other places around this area? I've saved almost every spot you've ever suggested, but I didn't see any on my maps. I went to a really nice duck place, called Lod Chong Sampheng Singapore, right next to the hotel, it was my very first Thai dish when I got there, so I'm probably a little biased. There are also a few street vendors along that road selling some amazing moo ping and chicken satay. I really enjoyed my time here, even some of the food from the I'm Chinatown mall was nice, sorry!! Be cool to get your opinion on it. Also, still catching up on some of your other vlogs, but did you ever get a chance to check out that street food place under the bridge I told you about, near Asoke?
The most amazing thing about the pork noodle restaurant was the man presumably the owner, who I don't see in your video so may be he doesn't serve customers himself anymore. He used to take orders from many tables at once, which could be dozens of bowls. He would not write anything down and miraculously all the right orders will be served to the right customers minutes later.
Exceptional. You are the Andrew Zimmern of Thai street food. Just the best descriptions and knowledge I’ve seen. This is my fave episode…until your next post! 😂 ❤️
Do you find it hard to explain the difference between the TomYum Noodles soup vs the TomYum Goong? Many westerners are familiar with the classic Thai TomYum Goong but when faced with the option of TomYum Noodles many make the mistKe that it would be the same style broth, but they are quite diff from each other. Not too manyThai rest opened in western countries will even bother to carry the noodles soup. Western clients are not familiar.
I saw that your episode called "LIVE FROM BANGKOK 🇹🇭 THE RAIN IS COMING!" is members only. Why is that? Someone with a measly 50k subscriber base with content that mirrors dozens of others does not really warrant having content that is members only. Cheeky Pinner-barrow-boy tactics. You want over 200 quid a year for membership, that is more than a UK TV license, in fact it is more than my yearly broadband fee. Your mate Paddy demands even more. I know there are muppets who will pay, but I would rather save my money to come and eat at the 100's of places you have already published, Good luck
These two shops are brothers and sisters because the big shop is their daughter. study school with me When I was elementary school 6, the school's English teacher went to teach English at this shop in the evening. My brother and I went to study English at this home. His daughter is my friend. It is the most delicious Tom Yum noodle restaurant that I have ever eaten.
Tom yum or Khao soi?
Khao Soi for me but need to try more Tom Yum next time I am in Thailand.
Tom yum if it this "ก๋วยเตี๋ยวรุ่งเรือง"
Khai Soi, because of that delicious bowl of garlic properly prepared🙏
Silly question mate . Khao soi for me 😂
Why did I even ask? 😅
Rung Rueng: A must stop for us every time we’re in BKK. So sad that we missed you there!!! 👊
Last time I saw a bowl of that deep fried garlic in Thailand, I asked the vendor to make me 2 large jars to take home with me😋👍
That’s such a great idea!
THE BEST OF Noodle. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Great recommendations! I hit the khao soi shop today and loved it. The staff were happy to hear I found their shop from this channel!!
I used to work 200m from that place,
It absolutely my favorite! the lunch time can be hellish from all the long queue but it worth the wait.
Another winner Gary, wow that fried garlic. The aunties just love your banter. Love it 😊

Chang Mai was focus of my first visit, so Khao Soi. Tom Yum has always been hit and miss for me.

Try Taktay Noodle in Charoennakorn opposite the soi of Ibis Riverside!
Great spot mate. Went on your recommendation
I love the Kaeng hung le curry as well, My Suphanburi Mrs can't stand it 😮 but I eat it when ever I see it on a menu.
Khao soi every day of the week
I'm glad that you enjoy Thai food.
Soi 49 Tom yum pork noodle also delicious. You should try it .
How do you pronounced the meat dish at the Khao Soi shop?
Will definitely visit this back alley shop the next time i am in bangkok.
Awesome as always ! :-)
I love thai noodle.
Miss me a good Larb & Sai Oua 🤤🤤🤤
ขนาดคนไทยเห็นยังน่ากินเลย ชอบวิดีโอมากครับ สุดจริง ❤😊
You should consider doing an on the street (as you are), then pairing that with a make at home/recreate at home video.
80kg that is mad 😮 we will have to visit that shop 😊
Great food again mate thanks for sharing 😊
Cheers mate!
Fried fish skin 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Request: visit to Rangsit Market 😊

I miss Bizarre Foods.😪
have you tried and compare Burmese food? Mandalay restaurant in Pratunam
Thanks for this- we're staying near both when we're over in August 👍
Where do people recommend for good Thai food near the Novotel at Sukhumvit 20?
Khao soi is a chang mai famous dish
No, Vietnam does not prefer tough meat. They either can't do it better or the meat is just what they can afford.
I didn’t mean to offend 🙏 it wasn’t meant in a negative way
❤
😊😊😊❤️😀

Man, You speak Thai like a native👍
no sea food ?????
Khao Soi is a No to me. I don't like cold curry. If your stomach is no good, don't try.
It’s not cold?
If it arrives cold send it back, I've never had it served cold in 30 years of eating it here
