You do deserve War of the Ring. Let me tell you why from my perspective. You mentioned how hard you have been working on Boardgame Hangover. Well, I encountered your channel when I already felt like I had subscribed to enough board game RUclips channels. I told myself I would not subscribe to another one. But... your passion, your humour and your style just pulled me in. You two won me over. So that is a sign that you are great at what you do. You deserve War of the Ring. I love SUSD, NPI and Radho Runsthrough. You do your own thing in your own way - and it works!

any website should work as long as your price is the cheapest among other seller
I'm interested too. Unless he sold all of them for a fraction of the price just for the sake of making shelf space.
The particular website is not relevant because it was locally (in Latvia) and at very good prices.
It takes me years to sell games unless I liquidate them for a penny per dollar.

@@BoardGameHangover I second this opinion. If you are able to try a full 8 scenario campaign (examples: The Dunwich Legacy or The Path to Carcosa) you will get a better understanding if this game is for you. It’s my favorite game, but it’s not for everyone.

This is inspiring and I hope to do something similar later this year. Could you talk a bit more about how you priced and sold them so quickly? That hassle is what stops me. What is the white box game that moved you, or would you prefer not to say?
I checked the prices at local stores and BGG and lowered my price by 20-50% depending on the state of the game and personal feel. Also posted it in local Facebook board game groups; people were active there. The white box is Aeon Trespass, an epic story game

Cool! I just reached 100 this year after 6 yrs in the Hobbie. I've started to set my purchases aside and think about them before buying. My saved-for-later cart is getting huge! 😂
I am also creating my perfect board game collection, got 627 games and 17 games incomming. Got around 25 expansions. Been tuning the collection since 2017. When I returned to board gaming after like 20 years absence from the hobby.

@@BoardGameHangover Tom Vasel at The Dice Tower gave both the games Glüx and Tintas seals of excellence. Really nice "easy going" games, why "nobody" talks about them? Claim It! and Gang of Dice are both amazing dice games. Some examples.

Interesting you kept sleeping gods in the safe zone. I have it, i love it, but i feel like that’s one of the games that’s hard to get back on the table after a full campaign
I've just started our second play through after 1.5 completed ones, my partner wanted a story feature saying why, narratively, we are back and started again...there isn't one. Plus it really loses something if you are just looking at old notes and just going to the few places you didn't go before only to end up inevitably crossing some same paths as before. Feel a little sad about it after loving it so much the first 1.5 play throughs.
Lord of the Rings... - interesting. I have heard people say that Dune: War for Arrakis (same designers more or less) is actually the better game of the two.

A lot of fun, but also painful saying farewell to so many great games (underwater cities!).
What was the rationale for grabbing Dwellings of Eldervale rather than waiting for Andromeda's Edge to come out?
It was a bit painful, but it's all about making sure the games get played :) I'm not a big space theme guy, and from the reviews I've seen, I'm not convinced I'd love that more. But I might be wrong.
I enjoy a lot your channel. Only problem is that your favorite games are too heavy for my taste (and for my group). So I watch it for entertainment, but it would be awesome if you made a video on easy games. Games that are easy to teach. One video with small games as well.

Dune Imperium is much better as an intro to heavier games and Uprising is much better for seasoned gamers. I enjoy both of them :)
