Oh man that is wicked cool! It's like an inverse in color from the typical model with a green riser and yellow nozzle (#5 I believe). Where did you come across these gems?
It is just like the green model just with a different nozzle gallonage it also puts out less water than the green ones do. I got lucky one day on eBay and scored four of these STL rotors in fact this is the only yellow one that got sent the other three are green pop-ups.
Andrew 94 Did the seller that you bought yours from have two different "buy it now" auctions listed for these heads, as well as a bunch of other Safe-T-Lawn and Weathermatic heads for sale at the same time? That's who I bought my two from, can't recall their name off the top of my head though. Both of the two I have are ones with the green riser and a yellow #5 nozzle, also "James Hardie Irrigation" branded like yours.
+murrfarms you know now that I think about it there was two different listings for these on eBay By the same seller and they did have other old school sprinklers too. I think I may have bought out the second listing lol back in March-April I can't recall the sellers name either all I remember is they shipped from Michigan.
Andrew 94 Yup, that's the one I got mine from too. I thought about buying one of the other rotors they had listed at the time but figured the two Safe-T-Lawn heads would be good enough. I'm just glad to see that someone else who's about as crazy as I am about this stuff got some of the others! ;)
ya. its great to see other people are into collecting sprinklers and making videos on them as well. I had been looking to add some STL rotors to my collection for awhile so getting these was perfect timing it seems like you and me got a majority of what was available at the time also i had to clean up the ones that got sent to me they were in pretty rough shape when i received them but i like to restore pieces of my collection if it needs it.
Where did you get this one it’s so cool 😎
eBay March 2016 have not seen one since.
I live in a complex we still. Use these
I am not a fan of rotors, as I prefer the impact sprinklers. I am glad you shared it with us.
