Raiti's Rides, love this dude and his videos. He's clearly from my era. Everything he says reminds me of my childhood, I literally have flashbacks when I listen to these videos.
For me, Joe, I think the 2025 is a step up. I love what Chevy did in the interior cabin with fresher looks and updated tech. On the outside, they did a good job hiding the wiper and giving updated lighting technology. I'm just glad to see they finally gave us full LEDs on the taillights. But it shouldn't take till 2025 model year to get that. C'mon Chevy. It should have been there, I'll say back in 2021, with the redesign. But regardless, I would go Wagoneer if I had the cash, of course.
If you need the space this Suburban is great. Naturally aspirated engine, beautiful interior, the wheels, the color. "See the USA in your Chevrolet". Thanks Joe . PS: the thought of eating KFC inside this vehicle horrified me as I was laughing my ass off....Cheers !
Hey Joe, fantastic and informative video as usual. I'm curious, have you ever made a video about any of your own personal cars? I think that would be a great video to make. All the favourite quirks and features of your personal vehicles.
I was in the market for a large SUV back in 21. I was thinking of purchasing the outgoing model but at the last minute I decided for the new 21 design and purchased a new LT suburban for 56k. Can’t believe they gone up 10k for the same truck now. It’s crazy.
The suburban has withstood the test of time, and a definite go-to. And, there are still quite a few older ones that I see on the streets, some going back more than 30 years.
Well the Suburban's heat actually works, the automatic breaking doesn't engage randomly at highway speeds, the infotainment screen actually turns on, and it won't catch on fire due to electrical shorts. These were all my experiences with a 2024 Grand Wagoneer. Stick with GM. Jeep died as soon as the Italians bought them out.
I was watching this vid in the living room with my daughter & she sat up when you mentioned Rubik's cubes lol. She's 10 years old & has a best time of 14 seconds on 3x3. Her name is Ariana Machado if you ever want to shout out a cuber that competes. I'm gonna show her some of your Range Rover reviews since that's her favorite car🍻
As an Asian who first saw American cars in UAE i was awestruck by how huge they are actually in real life and saw one suburban near my home man it looks like bus for sure..
I've wanted a Suburban or a Silverado for years. I'm a big Chevrolet fan! But here in Germany they are so incredibly expensive, from the purchase price to the insurance to the tax. It's crazy.
My grandparents bought their Chevrolet suburban in ruby red or what ever that color is called in dark red. New in 2002, they got the base standard one with a 5.3L Vortex motor in it. They totaled it in 2023, I could not it was so unrecognizable because of how bad it looked. But they repaired it for about 15k and it’s looks brand new. I’m not gonna go into details on how they wrecked it. But they are still driving at car to this day tho. And they are going to be selling it to me when they can’t drive anymore more $1.
I think we need a few years under Stellantis before we see how reliability is. It took a lot time under Italian ownership for dodge to get a reasonable amount of reliability and they just added the French in the mix.
Both are incredible and really well done. I think Chevy might have the advantage still vs the Jeep because Chevy just seems to do a little bit of a better Job but also more established on the name itself.
Only flaw (big zonk) on the GM full-size SUVs for me... that gi-normous C-pillar. Really kills the over-the-shoulder view (yeah, some of us still do that), and the third-row passengers have almost no side visibility, as the rear side windows are almost completely behind their heads.
Silly me, I was expecting you to say something around 90 to 120k. With the way car prices are this days. But 70k (still pricey) does not sound as scary high.
From a dealer perspective, Suburban is maintaining more value over time compared to the Wagoneer .Plus most Wagoneer's don't come standard with towing equipment when Chevy does. Little things.
Too bad the Cost of obtaining a new vehicle is too much now! I need a Suburban, Yukon Xl, or Seqouia, but at 70k for decently speced one is too much for a depreciating assest!
I need to know the numbers of Twinkies and hohos in all the spaces. Fog lights!!! We just have had two weeks straight of fog day and night. Fog lites should be required!
I'm impressed with the direction Chevy has taken since 22 model years. Especially 24. When I was growing up, Chevy's looked so ugly and was a plastic toy on the inside. But much improved now. My only thing is I think they have too many SUV options. Trax, Blazer, Trail Blazer, Equinox, Traverse, Tahoe, Suburban. The Trax and Tahoe/Suburban have their demo's but the middle group feels muddled
I prefer the GMC Yukon looks wise and interior wise but I have to say - that Suburban rear end works better than the Yukon. And yes, any new modern vehicle shouldnt have regular bulbs. It should all be LED at least for parking lights, brake lights and turning signals.
Don't like the chrome on the mirror caps. Should be same body color as the suburban. Premiere trim should have fog lamps and should definitely have automatic running boards. GM always cutting corners. At that price it should have the super cruise.
Isn't it more appropriate to mention the Suburban alongside Wagoneer, not Grand Wagoneer? I always thought Grand Wagoneer was close to being a rival for the Cadillac Escalade.
Hate the display sticks out like a sore thumb. I have had Suburbans for the past 25 years and love them but find it very hard to get past that display .
For the money, the Suburban is a better SUV because its a proven top pick for durability and reliability. Anything with Jeep on it? Less than stellar reliability although maybe this will improve with this vehicle.
This suburban is still good but I’ll wait for the 2025
I would to💯
💯 Absolutely 💯
That will be the year!
@RaitisRides what's wrong with 2024? Why do you waiting for 25?
Complete overhaul on the exterior and interior. The 2025 looks way better, especially on the inside! @danielwick8421
Raiti's Rides, love this dude and his videos. He's clearly from my era. Everything he says reminds me of my childhood, I literally have flashbacks when I listen to these videos.
We’re like rabbits 🐇 we’re on our 10th kid. It’s either this or a school bus 😆💀 His one liners are hilarious. Wishing you great and successful 2024😎

I am sure there will eventually be a price increase for the 2025, pus some may not want larger screens.

I actually have and was planning to do more!
Steven is a helluva camera/gimble operator. Nice work!
bought the Premier today at Sticker MSRP OTD so stoked
I really like how far the Suburban has come , I wonder how long they will keep the v8 in it
That is the million dollar question.
This reminds me of ur old videos like how the camera is and the background it reminds me of the gmc Yukon like 2021’s this is fire
I am so glad that I can bring it to you!
Excellent video Joe hope you do a review on the high country trim level merry Christmas to you and Lori 😊
Will do Antonio! Stay tuned and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Great review hard to believe the suburban been around almost 90 years.
Thanks for saying that! Trust me neither can I!
Do the 3rd row seats recline and are sunshades available for the 2nd row windows? Nice video btw.
Large and in charge when people buy full-size SUVs so much room and cargo space
You are so very right about that Matt!

hey keep going higher and higher!
I saw one. They were asking 92k!
Bidenomics bub lol
I know I don’t need a vehicle this size but I still want one. Maybe next year I’ll get mine.
I am glad that you are digging it Omar!
The suburban has withstood the test of time, and a definite go-to. And, there are still quite a few older ones that I see on the streets, some going back more than 30 years.
My parents have 02 suburban. Almost at 200,000. We have been all over the US with it.
Beautiful suburban
Radiant red is really freaking hilarious
Joe, i love that you zonk the light bulbs. For what your gonna pay to get a vehicle like this, you should get full led lighting
You better believe it!

I will wait for the Suburban 2025. Driving the 2020 and still loving it everyday but I think 2025 is the game changer there
On throttle!!!!!! That engine sounds cool
Nothing like a V8

I LOVE THE INTERIOR COLOR! I CAN NEVER FIND A VEHICLE WITH THAT PARTICULAR COLOR 😮
It is rare for sure!
Amazing review Joe.
I had a feeling that you would like this one.
The Suburban reigns supreme over the Jeep Wagoneer
Thanks for your vote Bryan!
Inside is cool but I prefer a bench seat since I have a family of 8
You can get that on different trims.
I would’ve liked that shiny chrome around the wheel wells especially on the black.☺️
Thanks for your suggestions on this one.
For the rubix cube, i didnt want to ruin the stickers so i disassembled the whole thing and put it back together.
This Chevrolet Suburban is a full size body-on-frame SUV. That...to me, it looks beautiful.
Yeah of course Joe and I will try to buy one.
I can see you driving this one
Buying one. Very enjoyable video.
Oh, I thought the exposed quad exhausts only comes with the 6.2L and the hidden exhausts were for the 5.3L
yeah same, now i’m confused lol

Zonk for the chrome mirror caps and the pin stripes.
Doesn’t the quad tipped exhaust mean that it has the 6.2 instead of the 5.3?
I wish Toyota would get more competitive in this segment. The sequoia isn’t cutting it as a family hauler.
Tell me about it!
No it’s not we have one and are trading it in for a suburban. Love it but we can’t fit anything.
Fantastic review, Joe!! 👏 👏 👍
Thanks for letting me bring it to you!

Just bought a high country model. What the wife wanted her daily driver and I wanted the 6.2 over the 5.3.They should put the 6.6 duramax in it!
Nice! I just can see how things are going that in a few years 22” will be the norm for wheels
Pretty much for sure
Premier Trim is the second highest trim only behind High Country.
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video real true 👍 💯
We can't do it with you my friend!
78k isn’t too bad compared to some of these other big SUVs breaking six figures
That is so very true!

Raiti has become a legend of car reviewing
Great review! Well done sir
It needs to have some fog lights.
I agree with you I don’t know why they didn’t put fog lights on this generation of suburban but the Yukon has fog lights and they are the same suv
You are so very right Mickey!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THE CHEVY SUBURBAN 2024 in radiet red
Suburban is better than my dads armada
Both are trash get a land cruiser V8 or LX
I agree with you!
beautiful truck! i'd prolly go with some black 22in rims, with slight machined accents
☮
That would look very good.! Good call!
The suburban has lots of cargo area
It is as big as a house!

I hate that they didn't get fog lights for this generation but 2025 is perfect, the fog lights have made a much needed return
I need to know the numbers of Twinkies and hohos in all the spaces.
Fog lights!!!
We just have had two weeks straight of fog day and night. Fog lites should be required!
It crazy how big the car is and how little the screen is and 25% of the screen is bezel
That is such a good point.
I'm impressed with the direction Chevy has taken since 22 model years. Especially 24. When I was growing up, Chevy's looked so ugly and was a plastic toy on the inside. But much improved now. I only have one question.
How do you put 10 kid's in 5 seats?
I prefer the GMC Yukon looks wise and interior wise but I have to say - that Suburban rear end works better than the Yukon. And yes, any new modern vehicle shouldnt have regular bulbs. It should all be LED at least for parking lights, brake lights and turning signals.
The best Suburban yet
Joe can you link 2024 GMC Yukon. Not the XL model thx.
Don't like the chrome on the mirror caps. Should be same body color as the suburban. Premiere trim should have fog lamps and should definitely have automatic running boards. GM always cutting corners. At that price it should have the super cruise.
What kind of fuel does this require? I missed that.
I love the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban
It's expensive but you get a lot of vehicle for the money.
You are so very right about that David!
they say that every time you say "jeep", a random jeep nearby will randomly break down.
LOL You are very hilarious!
Dashboard looks terrible with the infotainment screen just stuck into the center of the dash. A deal breaker for me on any vehicle.
Weird having the pull buttons for the transmission
It is a safety feature.
J - I want two, one for me one for you, tony
Thanks Tony for lbs such a good guy!
After seeing the 2025 suburban, I think I will wait.
Nothing wrong with that!
The lower portion of the door could carry a mini-cooper. 😅
You are right about that George!
Alright Joe let’s see if this Chevy is worth the damage
I like the way that you put that
Will they make a suburban hybrid?
Thanks to Joe Rady for making a full review on the 2024 Chevrolet Suburban. Tell him "Thanks". He's too kind.
Beautiful beast
after replacing LED taillights, very expensive, I would rather have the old fashioned light bulbs.
Yikes! That price tag is insane. Might as well go for the Escalade. Go big or go Uber.

Yay. The rear wiper is tucked.
Some do it for sure!
That sure looks like Chevy Firethorn Red from the mid 70s Camaro.
I think you may be right!
But how about compared to the Sequoia??
Keeping up with the Joneses!.
You think so?
I’ll wait for the 2025
Sound like a plan!
Beautiful suv very nice
Yes
I might consider it??
It is worth an extra look
You got the horse power numbers wrong😮
It looks nice, but those Chinese push button gear selection is a NO.
Chinese????
