You can't compare these because of size/price difference. RAV4 / CRV for reliability / allround crossover with good space. Qashqai, Kuga, CX5, Taos are great cars but definitely smaller and cheaper. Kodiaq is your choice when you are looking for the biggest crossover for Rav4 money.
A contrast like this is really useful rather than one off reviews. The first thing which strikes me is that non premium cars are getting pretty good and you wonder why you have to pay the premium. The second thing which was striking is that the Japanese examples all had good traditional UI/UXs and downplayed the infotainment; I like that. The car which interested me most was the Nissan because it uses the ICE just as a generator something which you can also see in the range extender version of the Mazda MX30. The Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce would also have fitted into the comparison and would have wiped the floor with everything else.
When looking for a SUV i went and drove all under the Sun for at least 2 days each. I even looked beneath them all. I bought the Kodiaq. No contest. Rav 4 gearbox is crap. Also the soundproofing on Motorway. Feels like a car - 10k euros. Best one after Kodiaq is the Sportage but overall quality of plastics is worse, also soundproofing. Sportage is better equiped for same money. Build quality beneath is worse than Kodiaq and RAV4. Tiguan is on par with Kodiaq in terms of build quality and soundproofing, some plastics in some places are better than the Kodiaq but the overall interior space is noticeable smaller. I like the interface of the dials better in the Kodiaq. Taos and Corrola didnt care for ..they feel less well stable than the others. Also noisier then the others. Gearbox is funky for Toyotas. The Honda is ok but very Boring in my eyes, ergonomy was a bit strange.
are you not concerned with the reliability issues of the Kodiaq? specifically the DSG7 and water pump? I am asking because I am interested in the Kodiaq as well but those are the only issues putting me off. Also, not interested in leasing as suggested in the video.
After 6 years with the Skoda Octavia (mark 3 and mark 4), I have to say you will be hard pressed to find cars with so many problems. Yes one can understand that there will be some problems, but Skoda can almost never fix them. I describe what real life with a Skoda Octavia 4 is like on my channel. I've been driving a Hyundai Tucson since May and it's a different world. Skoda is just overpriced crap...
I have 4 Skodas , 1 from 2011, one from 2014, one from 2017 and one from 2023. No problems. Either you are a troll or you are full of crap. List the problems.

Tiguan and Kodiaq are the only cars you can by of this collection
New Tucson and New 3008 are good competitors. Kodiaq I feel to be different class and Karoq more of this class, although it cannot keep up
Yep soon hopefully have the updated Tucson here. 3008 is here: ruclips.net/video/C2TJjij8mzA/видео.htmlsi=qAUHosiIp_Wi0VjK
karoq and 3008 are way smaller compared to CRV/RAV4

What about Hyundai Tucson, which is by the way the best selling car of its segment?
As I mentioned, I am waiting on the facelift model to be available to test the very recent version asap
