I honestly think Lindor's game takes a serious turn for the better if he comes back to Cleveland but NY has to eat that contract.

London was already going downhill his last couple years in Cleveland. He is at best an average hitter with a good glove.

I love the potential ideas, but I do not see Antonetti making a move that puts the team on the AL radar. If they choose to not spend again, it will be another Yanks first round sweep.
The Yankees continue to be portrayed as a powerhouse. Don't get me wrong they're good. They have scored 304 runs in 62 games.
However Baltimore has scored the same 304 in 59 games I get it we want to look at our teams in the best light, but reality has to be a factor too

We do not want Lindor back. I knew we didn't want Lindor at that All-Star game where he and that Astros IF batted 1-2 and got interviewed just before the first pitch. When asked about their approach, both guys said "SWING HARD!" and proceeded to strike out flailing like idiots. He literally was never the same after that ASG.
Lindor's contract with the Mets is incredible and any small market team could not come close to matching it---no, no on Lindor despite the fact that I miss him in Cleveland...$451 million over ten years?!?
What about getting Cal Quantrill back. Hes better than Mckenzie and Carrasco

Fuck Lindor, I don’t want him back, he doesn’t deserve to come back to a 40-20 team after our struggles since 2017 & he’s 30 years old with a stupid contract. Bichette would be interesting @ 26 years of age, but he’s having a rough season. Depends what Bo would cost, we already have a Bo that’s slumping. What we need is another legit starting pitcher. Stix needs surgery, Lively is 31.5 years old, Cookie is washed, Allen needs 4+ runs of support to win, Curry can’t get thru a lineup more than twice, & Williams ain’t looking like he’s on path for a solid return, & Bibee is a stud. At some point our bullpen is going to gas out. We all know the Dolan’s ain’t gunna spend shit.

Let me see if I got this right. We now believe that after seeing the fruits of all the development of young guys in this Organization...... that they should make a splash trade and not see what all these young kids have to offer.....
I am trying to not be a jerk, but finding it hard, when this suggestion has been ignored for the last three years.
