I'm back! After these years of producing many different styles I've picked up new techniques to approach dubstep in some awesome new ways!
In this video I show you how to make GROUND SHAKING DUBSTEP!
I felt it's time I make a 2022 approach to dubstep, and the results are AWESOME! 🔥
I've been really inspired by talented artists such as Marauda, Excision, Zomboy, Sullivan King, Phase One, & more! Especially that Lost Lands just happened it's motivating to see all the new music and talent! 🤘🏼
Combining elements of heavy metal & hardcore fusing with Tear-Out Dubstep, in this video we create something that's impossible not to headbang to!
I hope you all enjoy and learn something new!

this is basically an how to use my presets packs video
10 min cash grab, just short enough for no ad but long enough to bombard viewers with product placement.
damn someone salty lmao
Yeah it was kinda just an ad, but it was also really cool!
@@3WL2 Geez someone is not happy
I show exactly how to make the preset used + techniques as well as included the preset to download free :)
Thanks, now I'm a Dubstepper!
HAHA our channel logos are so similar lmao
@@DAWBreaker yeah I noticed! Cool! 😂
fun drinking game: take a shot everytime mooboy plugs his new sample pack
(I do not account for any alcohol poisoning)
The free sample pack? Bro, you buggin
“Today we’re gonna make our own kind of fusion, DUBSTEP AND HEAVY METAL”
Sullivan King:…lol ok
I was thinking the same thing. XD Otherwise the video was just fine to me
Hehehe he’s awesome!
PhaseOne outdoes Sullivan King on every level
@@darknid158 I wouldn't really go that far.
@@metronoid967 I most def would
metalstep is so underrated when it's done right.
The drop is tearout not metalstep but i agree
Lol let’s not split hairs on subgenres. It’s all dubstep in the end
If you’re with me now, show me a sign…
So:
1) Have a drummer
2) have a guitarist
3) have a vocalist
4) buy my presets.
Am I in the ballpark?
If PhaseOne and Marauda had done a collab
brostep popularized dubstep in america, no doubt, but the original genre and it's roots can be traced to a very popular sound in the uk that had huge success before brostep arrived on the scene. it was laid-back, bass heavy, less distorted, and heavily inspired by dub reggae due to many of the original creators being jamaican immigrants.
I cringed when he called brostep classic dupstep
Hell yeah man, happy to see you posting tutorial vids again. Perfect timing too, been wanting to make more heavy dubstep stuff recently, thanks! 🔥😈
Me too actually. I've been working on a deathstep and minatory ID as of recently so this was somewhat nicely timed.
Unbelievably excited to see MOONBOY coming back to the dubstep community and sharing some things. His video production quality has jumped through the roof and really draws the attention of the viewer. However I feel like this video was more of an advertisement for his sample packs than a tutorial. MOONBOY if you’re reading this please take my review into consideration. You’re doing great with your image and it really shows. On the flip side if you continue to try and sell things without actually teaching in depth knowledge I fear you’ll drive a lot of people away, a lot of dedicated fans. I would hate for that to happen because you have built an amazing community here. We love you.
This is hugeeeee facts!
@@Yousef-sc2kk WE WANT THE KNOWLEDGE!!!
Appreciate the feedback! I did my best to show in depth the presets used and explained every technique used in it. As well as included the preset free for everyone to download :)
But i totally see what you mean, while I believe I talked about my new pack briefly I did mention it a lot.. Hopefully that doesn’t deter anyone away from the amount of knowledge and time I put into this video, there’s SO many dope tips in this. Thanks for the comment I’ll take this in consideration for my next vid ❤️
@@MOONBOY whats the track? 0:39
It is sadly common now a days. I get it, they need to eat too, but a lot make money off youtube as well. I'm okay with them selling packs but wish they showed other ways to try.
holy fuck, the last part where you combined both basses was fucking unbelievable and mainstage worthy. And you probably won't even release it as a song huh?.. astonishing that you're able to cover so many areas of basic music at a top tier level
You must not listen to his music he does it in a lot of his tracks
I'm so thrilled to see you working on the MK3, it's been tough producing a genre on gear nobody producing in that genre uses.
Yeah. I just bought an AKAI MPD to try to approach Dubstep producing and performance differently. Need more practice rn.
Getting that Kai Wachi/Sullivan King vibe from the end result. Absolutely love it!
YAAAAAAAAS !!! you already know how much of a treat this is to your viewers! And congrats on the new label!!!!
Thank you for coming back to dubstep ❤️❤️ I’ve been waiting for thisss!
Samplifire style is the new dubstep in my opinion❤️
No matter what music you're into, it's insane how much science going into the production, blows my mind all the time.
Also for those of you out there who are interested, there is also deathstep and minatory, which are heavy subgenres of dubstep that are also really fun! :) I myself am trying to get good at this style besides other genres that I've been diving into.
THE MAN IS BACKKKK, please start streaming again those were great!!
Dude I freaking miss his streams man. I've improved quite a bit over these past few months. Still got some work to do, but I am definitely making progress. What have you been up to Spirity boi?
dude you are a god send. Thank you for making these videos
This tutorial is what i need
Phaseone is one of my favorite artist when it comes to metalstep. Banger!
I like how he inverts the camera to make it appear like he has another angle
So happy moonboy making Heavy stuff again but also cool to see how much of a variety of edm he can do
Hey guys, today were going to be using my NEW sample pack CHAOS. Btw, if you want to sound just like marauda BUY CHAOS. Oh also, I think I forgot to mention, but I just a realest the most gnarly dubstep sample and preset pack called CHAOS. Check the description headbangers!!! ✌️😁
Jesus moonboy you really gotta talk about us buying your packs 70 times?
i tried mixing tearout with djent in a recent piece of mine (for a contest). i think metal and dubstep is going to be a fusion on the rise within the next few years.
i want to hear that LMAO
It’s been happening in the scene for like over 6 years… look up “Headbanger” by Excision and see the year it came out. The seeds have been growing
Yooo Finally, a new video of moonboy !! 💖🔥🔥
I thought your last pack was unbeatable but chaos is a whole new level!
Should be called "how to make a sample pack"
Omg! i didnt know it was you dubstep pack thank you so much previous year it helped me in my projects 😭🎉
EL RETORNO DEL REY!!! Lets gooooooooooooooooooooo, this is the real dubstep!!!
such a good tut i made me cry
🙌🙌🙌 happy to see you creating again
i love the snare for the scream bass, but i think a switch to a heavy pan snare when the machine gun bass comes in wouldve been even more brutal
Good stuff! Would love to see a series for more advandcent music production techniques.
Best tutorial for sound like marauda! :)
Hell yeah! Welcome back!
Stepping aside from the video, while I unfortunately have yet to watch the last video from your Infinite course, all I can say is wow, what a treat those sessions were! Lots has been happening for me, I've been moving to a new house, making more music and improving as I go (I hope to get back to making songs soon after I set up my stuff), getting an internship at a recording studio, these past few weeks have been a wild ride for me, and I cannot wait for the future! :D I sure do hope that everyone else here is doing good too!

So something like Tearout?
Edit: Tearout elements with Trap style drum patterns and the heavy metal guitar riff and drums
😈😈😈
Boy do I love you coming back every few months to shill a new pack
this is FIRE!!!!
this is like a n&a productions video with less fidget spinners and more ads
Doing content right Moonboy.
You're doing it right
Ur back to dubstep 😁🤟
YOOOOOOO THANK DUDE U AWESOME !!!!
I'll admit I was skeptical for a while, but you know your shit. BIG UPS!
I will never forget Eleps...💔
Finally 💥💥
Agony is sick. He has such a low amount of followers that he’s great at responding back to DMs. He’s a cool guy and extremely underrated!
i've asked him one time about guitar, he even records his own sometimes. it's fucking sick
HYPEEEEEEE HE IS BACKKKK
A 10 minute commercial disguised as a tutorial
This is sick. I make metal, and I’m trying to get into dubstep.
YAAAAAAASSSS!!!!!!!
Thanks for taking off the chain after a few minutes, it was clanking on your mic hahah
😂😂 lesson learned
DUBSTEPBOY IS BACK
You’re a beast 🔥
Returned to dubstep 🥺🥰
This gave me so much inspiration
it is more like a commercial for his packs than a real tutorial.
Moonboy is back!

I've been waiting for more tutorials

5:35, hell yeah, Agony is one of your friends now?? Jeez dude that's awesome! :D I remember when they were on the TNTH streams!
I am not sure if it is just me, but I think it would be cool to see your take on Euro dance. I rember the mainstream Euro dance when I was a kid many years ago.

0:51 Ah yes, Azel is now the face of Riddim
ayo whats the song name over there?
insane tutorial!
Fun fact: Skrillex started to produce his style of music because he had his nose broken at a from first to last show. He damaged something with his vocal chords and couldn't scream. So the growl was something he thought could replace it. If course he can sing now. But at the time that was his next best option. Plus of course he was already making heavy electro before he heard the brostep style that excision and downlink brought to LA at the time. It was extremely underground, that why people were so surprised to hear it because nothing sounded like it at all. The other fun fact, is in an interview with iZotope, soony said the scary monsters growl was actually made by accident. He was with Noisia and it was a Reese bass that had distortion put on it. I think it was made in fm8 originally. He used massive back then as well before serum got huge. Anyways, now you know.
Maestro ❤
Remember when Skrillex collab with Korn? That's basically what Metal Dubstep sounds like.
Nice keep up the good work
Super helpful intro video man! Time to make music for moshing ✊🔥
Yo when you called your guitarist friend it sounded exactly like the whats up from that subtronics song Griztronics
I would love to see you do like a spacey midtempo
Too much Chaos dude ! It's not a tutorial, it's fu***** shopping tv show ! 🤣
@Herr Heisenberg Damn, Take my money so!! 🥳

Drums in the sample pack go hard
