Meal planning is work! But for me, so worth it. I meal plan every 2 weeks and only buy what I need for that. If I find good deals on what we'll use, I will get it, but once you're doing it consistently, buying excess becomes less. Keep up the good work!

I also freeze my left overs so if I don’t feel like cooking I can just take out that and add veggies or salad
My daughter-in-law writes on the zip lock bags so we know what meat is in each bag. We started keeping all leftovers on one shelf in the fridge and labeled the pantry shelves it has made things so much easier
I'm so happy that you are shopping your pantry and fridge. Being flexible with the here is the list of meals we have too cook is the way I would go too!
Due to my allergies, my meal plan is pretty fixed. Bison, tuna, salmon. Rinse and repeat.
I write down meals we already ate. If we try a new recipe, or if someone requested something and the whole family liked it, it goes on a weekly rotation.
I have not made a meal plan in a long time but this morning I sat down and wrote one out. It’s like we are in since. This was before I watched your video.
Like you it’s not a real meal plan, it’s just a list of possible dinners based on what meat I have available. When we it said meal is random. If I write it in on Monday we don’t necessarily eat it that day. I like to have options. 🥗🥙🌮🍔🥘🍲🍛🍜🍝🍳

I have tried to use cloths more but I love using paper towels! Love that you are adding more meal plan and freezer/pantry content!💕

Thank you for the video Karen. Thank you for your time spent. Good content. I am working towards meal planning. It harder with summer , we have a 14 year old son. So we are just trying to keep food in the house. How can one eat an entire box of Cheez-its from 11pm to morning? lol... God Bless
Do laundry earlier in morning or at night when not as hot outside, keep part of blinds closed so it doesn't get as hot in house stuff i do to hopefully help with bills and i keep the lights off most of the day
I have a list of the meals that I make most often it helps when I start my meal plan I try to make something new every week or 2
You could do BLT’s or a casserole with rice, chicken, corn, chicken gray, breadcrumbs. I made that tonight. It’s easy
I love that you are using up a lot of your pantry supplies. Especially as it means you will be able to see more of those beautiful decoupage birds. The meal plan ideas were great too as there was lots of variety to choose from throughout the week. I was wondering, how your Optivia maintenance plan is going these days, have you been able to get back on track again? I have put on a stone in weight, mainly because my health problems mean I cannot walk as much at the moment; but I am really being strict as to what is coming into the house food wise in order to try and loose some of the weight I’ve gained. I don’t eat many sweet things only the occasional half portion of ice cream if it is really hot like today when it was 27c or nearly 87f. Mainly because we don’t have air con, only fans to keep the house cool. Air con isn’t really a thing in most older UK homes.
I feel like I am slowly getting where I want to be. Not 100% strict but enough that I lost 1 pound this week! As long as it goes down and not up, I’m happy! 😉

To be honest my mum never cooked until leftovers were all gone. I think that makes shure things get eaten
You should try the laundry soap sheets. I use Clean People and they come mail order in a little box. The soap sheets clean very well and leave less packaging behind as well as taking up way less space. They're pretty affordable, too.
Yes I have tried them! I wasn’t using the most affordable brand so I’ll look into Cleab People!!
I enjoy some music over just all talking, and especially enjoy your choices over the frenetic free pop music that gets overused by a lot of channels.

I thought I saw a box of shells on your shelf to the left. As far as slow cooker liners -- don't use the dollar store ones. My sister tried that or an off brand and found it breaks easy.

Use paper towels if you want, karen. I like microfiber towels, but honestly when you got pets like we do. I swear that they leave behind so much animal hair on things and I just can't .
