- Healthy Cauliflower Steak with a Garlic, Chili, Lemon Caper Dressing
A simple satisfying healthy meal that can be made in minutes. The cauliflower is first caramelised in the pan then braised in vegetable stock. Then topped with a lemon, chili and garlic hot dressing with capers and parsley. Cauliflower is so versatile and came make a great substitute for protein. If you’re looking for something vegan or healthier, then give this recipe a go. It may be healthy, but it’s also delicious.
Any leftover florets can be used for another side dish, you could also use them or why not make cauliflower rice. You will get one perfect steak for each cauliflower, or two reasonable ones, but no more.

This looks great! Would love to see more vegan recipes - my wife is vegan and I'm not, and I'm fine with eating vegetable based dishes (but really dislike vegan "cheese", "cream", "meat", and other processed items etc.). Having some more options like this where there's some authenticity and flexibility with the food is a great compromise. We'll be making this one soon - thank you!

All that remains is to say - Perfect! Beautiful vegetarian recipe with a top dressing. When I cook that, I make myself a mashed potato as a satiety side dish. But just the cauliflower. If it really comes from your own cultivation, then someone here has a "green thumb"
Yes, I only grew two cauliflowers in my small patch, no pests, no aphids and of course I keep it organic. I'm no expert gardener, I hope I can do it again!

What can you do with cauliflower leaves?
I believe you can use them, roasted, in soups etc, I just give them away for chicken food.
