You are the only person I've seen to record a tutorial mostly with your back facing the camera. The other day I was just thinking about how easy would have been if all dance tutorials were shot that way. Extremely, extremely helpful making total difference in perception and understanding. If the person is facing the camera then you have to convert the move in 180 degrees which is unneeded conversion especially for beginners. I started watching Sven Otten's neo-swing and shuffling, but today I decided to check the charleston and swing moves, which are essential. Always back to basics. Thank you so much. You are simply awesome!

I agree. And I’m compelled to add, with a disclaimer first: I know that country music is like black licorice; you either love it or you hate it. But I love it. And I must say that this vantage also applies to country line dancing (as well as many other styles, of course). I always tell newcomers to avoid that wallflower impulse to try a new dance from the outskirts. If you’re just learning a new dance, you must make your way to the middle of the dance floor. That way you’ll always have someone in front of you, to remind you of the steps, no matter which wall you’re facing. Cheers! (BTW I also love black licorice.)
I'm not a dancer... and it's so interesting to watch a dance that looks funny/easy, only to find out there's such a complex technique and so much work and dedication behind it. Beautifully done!

The dance is wonderful as others pointed it out but the delivery of the lesson is so amazing, it really hints a nice character and just how much energy is within. Gotta love those hummings and sounds that are perhaps not even fully intentional while doing some motions, especially with a sweet voice like that - I think it's able to reach the inner child in us in a certain way.
