      He's definitely one of the best players on earth. The earth is NOT a planet. It's a PLANE

    Just watched this, and I have one thing to say: if I had been there, I would NOT have kept walking! AMAZING! You kick ass, Chris!

    I mean, wow, I can't believe how "original" some of his lines sound. 1:41 onwards is so cool - legato blues heaven! LOL! Other favorite parts: 3:34, 4:15, 7:31

    I always loved the jazz undertones he brought to Megadeth. Nothing against Marty, but Chris and Kiko (who I feel picked up where Chris left off) are still my favorite Megadeth guitarists.

      Listillo Lordoc Kiko is the best, but I prefer Chris at his quirky best. He is the Django of Thrash.

      Kiko is probably the best all round guitarist of Deth, but Marty and Chris really have their instantly recognizable phrasing.

    I love those insane licks where he hammer on and pull off then bends in to the same note he just pulled of.

    Alien left index finger!! He’s sooo underrated as a player by the vast majority. Dave should’ve called him back a long time ago. Incredible playing

    Imagine if he actually used his pinky 😱

    • @robaxl3088
      @robaxl3088 4 года назад +3

      notice how his pointer finger is twisted to the side..Dave Mustaine mentioned that in his book called "Mustain" about how Chris wouldn't use his pinky and how that twisted pointer finger gave chris an edge at reaching frets..

    I noticed Chris has several different amps but I also noticed he is playing thru the Karana amp..I own a MKII series and they are awesome amps and you can't beat the price for what you get..I do not work for Boss nor do I know anyone that is affiliated with Boss.

    5:38 - 5:43 we can hear the typical peace sells sound, in the beginning of some songs

  • @wolfganggoyim

    Beautiful tone and vibrato. Imagine if he had full mobility of his index finger.

      Truly! What's odd is that that "bent" first finger is truly a major part of WHY he plays his lines they way he does. Notice that? It's like an "anchor" of sorts. It's really amazing!
