Hiii! I live with very hard well water. Our dishwasher has not beed rinsing all the calcium off. I tried EVERYTHING. It didn’t work for me. My new approach, thanks to a friend, is liquid detergent and powdered lemonade mix!!! Its cheaper than rinse aid and it has loads of citric acid which eats away at the calcium buildup! I was sooooooo happy to see my glassware and plates come out clean!

I place a box fan to dry my dishes and no spots thanks to that. The heater works well on the bottom rack, but is futile for the top . I might have to use that rinse stuff I use vinegar as a sanitizer but I would trade that for dryer dishes. The fan is good though.
My water is high in minerals that leave spots but Finish prevents spots on my dishes. Still using it and 100% satisfied.
@@KimTownsel I just seen that here, finish with power ball and a bottle of its jet rinse, is cheaper than cascade top product dishwasher detergent . My dishwasher is brand new its heaven sent.
If the rinse is all they say it is, then finish will be just as good as cascade, but with great saving with more pods win, win to me.

In order to use this do you need to use liquid detergentfirst, then rinse it off with this. I dont use dishwasher but im sort of camping and have no water could you use this as a substitute for detergent?
I don't think this is a substitute for water.
How often do you refill the dishwasher with rinse aid?
I just top it off every Sunday.

Why don't you use the blow dryer?
The electric drying uses a great deal of energy and is not needed. My dishes are dry enough by morning, even though the door stays shut all night after the dishwasher stops the wash and rinse cycles.

@Dr. Kim Townsel What are the hazards of alcohol ethoxylate? Can easily penetrate the soil and contaminate ground water and nearby streams. Very toxic to aquatic organisms. Irritating to the eyes and respiratory tract. Prolonged exposure to the skin can cause reddening and scaling.
My dishwasher same i try to fill up with that product is leaking on front of door why is that
Leaking out the front of the dishwasher or the snap lid where the rinse aid goes in?
From the rinse aid bottom ...it leaks as I'm filling it
Mine seems ro do the sane.
@@KimTownsel what worked for me is using a funnel or syringe to directly pour the rinse aid into the rinse aid fill-up hole. Hope this helps. 👍
