The biggest lesson I learned when I did a Fruit of the Spirit Study was that busyness *was not fruitful*. I was busy all the time, but I wasn't producing joy, peace, kindness or gentleness. I was too stressed from try to be busy that I didn't have joy or peace. I was short-tempered and exhausted from going and going and doing and doing, so I wasn't showing kindness or gentleness to others in a genuine way. I had to give up being busy and start being productive.
Thanks for this I need more friends sisters in Christ since I rededicated myself to God! This is such a creative way to break down the scriptures and add a fun visual way to learn and grow in the word! For me I’m studying proverbs now.
I love what you said “ I was never able to explain it when people say I’m to nice or too patient, and people always tell me that people will take advantage of me, and I just tell them nope, god would not let that happen, next time I’m gonna tell them my gentleness is the fruit of my spirit and need to show it to all and make it evident! Thank you for this! Cause I needed this!
Such a beautiful way to study God’s word. I am working on the study of the fruits myself. We have a hard time with these attributes but in Gods grace and mercy.. if we pray and meditate on them. He gives us the strength, love , and patience to practice them daily!
