Got this truck a couple weeks ago and its a absolute blast to run! My favorite r/c Monster truck ! I still have the original 1990 USA-1 also, which I am going to restore.

the esc looks like a hobbywing max8 with some stickers on it which are rated for 6s... should be able to double check with a hobbywing program card, wont need the power but wheelies are always fun and there is a 4wheel steer available i seen on the last Amain video
Yeah man I plugged in the hobbywing program card and it worked no worries. Didn't try 6s, that would be too crazy on this tho 😊

The plastic Kyosho uses is really similar to the stuff Tamiya uses, it'll take a few hard hits before it breaks.

Great looking truck.I still have my original monster truck from back in the day.Even got it autographed at a monster truck show I attended years ago.It's a shelf queen now.Even hold onto the original box it came in.Will give it to my grandson one day if he gets good grades in school.That's a deal we made with each other.Merry Christmas.

Had one bk in 90s,bought it at a flea market for 60bucks ,duel motors (brushed obviously) duel steering, but didn't keep it long as my local hobby dealer had alot of trouble getting parts through customs ,traded it off for a sweet rc boat ,40in Dumass deep v ,still have it,merry Christmas ✌

I got mine in 2012, the Mad force cruiser nitro was my first, then I got the mad crusher, and the XX fox used and I have one I put together from parts, the axle housing and all the links are aluminum, the axle housing RC4wd Drive used to have the housings now discontinued, they are awesome risky concepts used to sell aluminum parts wheelie bars and On axle steering servo’s mounts he was on Facebook but haven’t seen him lately so don’t know if still is doing it

kyosho is the best in proposing old models as new and making them pay a lot😅 it is practically the same monster of 15 years ago and even then it was behind the competition. plastic links same shock absorbers high center of gravity a tragedy in short. Fortunately, at least in terms of aesthetics it is beautiful😅

where can i get a reference or video tutorial converting this model from nitro to electric powered, been keeping for more then 15 yrs,
Not too sure many but I will be fairly easy as there should be conversation kits available

@@RCTanksTrucks247 I've got mine on Christmas and after 40 mins the Hallsensor burnt out. I would recommend to use 6V and not 7,4V. I installed a reed switch seems to work fine but sometimes one of the two cylinders doesn't fire's every time but that was from the beginning on.

At 90ty I did have money to bye USA1 so I had Nitro traker. Later I bought kyosho inferno 10. Today I have them matet. 😃
