    Excellent review 👍
Today I was recording with my Gretsch....double tracking with the trusty 62 US Vintage Series Strat. That fabulous sound from the Gretsch with those TV Jones Classics was an utter joy.
    Distinctive and unique 👍

I tried one and it was wonderful. Wish I had pulled the trigger on it.

Longer demo is needed. There was hardly any playing, except the tiny bit of New Age Slide in the end.

My favourite Gretsch I own is my 2014/ 55 reissue 6120 upgraded with TV Jones T armonds. For some reason it just seems to resonate more then my Black falcon players edition, 2008 Anniversary, and 59 duojet reissue. Not the best looking gretsch but just something special about it. All are great guitars though. The modern gretsches are superb guitars.

Dude, you're Demo'ing an amazing guitar and you literally talked for 2min with next to zero playing demonstration. . . seriously ? Lemme say this about the G6620T and what I know because i'm still considering it. It is definitely very cool High-End Gretsch. It's beautiful. It's in their professional series. This guitar is very similar to the Gretsch Panther G6137T that was discontinued 3-4y ago, but the G6620T has some cool features, a very comfortable neck with and an extremely warm / earthy color. I've had the pleasure of playing FOUR (4) of these Nashvilles G6620T over the past year, one (1) New and three (3) Used. They all pretty much sound the same. I still play out, my tone is pretty simple. 2-12 HotRod with some Chorus and slight Delay to fatten up the sound and a Fulltone OD. The one feature I dislike about the G6620T, that i can definitely hear is this "TREBLE BLEED" circuit that is factory installed. It actually sucks. Its does what a Treble-Bleed is suppose to do at lower volumes, but it's also Tone-Sucking at higher volumes (wide-open). In other words, the tone still remains THIN at higher volumes, as it seems to make the tone from the Bridge Pick-Up sound Thin, on all four (4) G6620T's I demo'd. Im not sure why, but it just does . . . too thin for my Tastes. When I demo'd a new Nashville G6620T at a guitar dealer in pittsburgh (yes I drove 110mi to check out a guitar). I borrowed a friend's 2012 Gretsch Panther G6137T for the sake of comparison. Brought along my smaller rig and compared. The Sales Dude at the dealer was my Witness . . he affirmed . . yup, the Panther sounds alot stronger with more Dynamic Range than the Nashville. Meanwhile I'm looking thru the F-hole to see a big FAT Juicy Capacitor on one of the Nashville's Tone Pot's and that ofcourse was just irritating. In talking with the Sales Dude, he asked another emplyoee to listen-in. I play classic Dance rock, "Covers", Stones, Beatles, Bad Co, Led Z, Who, Kinks etc etc , essentially material that any standard Filtertron should easily handle to any guitarists discerning ear . . but the G6620T Nashville just lacks something at higher volumes . . . so I simply cannot recommend it as a Rock nRoll guitar as stock. The Sales dude actually said, well the guitar is called a NASHVILLE for a reason. The word Nashville implies Country and more softer tones, Jazz per se . . . meaning Stones, LedZ, Kiss tones wouldn't be a good fit for this guitar as 'Stock'. I may still consider it because I love the color and hoqw it plays, but with a few Mod's and definitely removing that "Treble-Bleed" circuit. Thoughts ?

1st of all nobody cares if you consider it or not. Also this Video is from the OFFICIAL Gretsch YT Channel. It was ment to be like this. Its not Jeffrey fault.

I agree, I've heard more negative than positive about a Treble Bleed. My guitarist calls them Tone-Sucking. A better application or to be used in Home Studio setting, NEVER to be used for stage.
