As Bomberman: Act Zero increases in popularity all due to a single RUclipsr's influence, Hudson Soft is now being challenged with a lawsuit about ownership of the game as thousand's claim they own the game and use the phrase "it's still anyone's game."
On a site I frequent, there was an image a while back of "the wall of shame". It contained, among other things, Sonic '06, Superman 64, and Bomberman: Act Zero. I kid you not, there was someone in the comments of that image who said "Bomberman: Act Zero can't be THAT bad, since it constantly makes top 20 on Twitch." Thanks for that, Jon. You abuse your power with BAZ, but it really does get even better when the hilariously stupid games come up on cookie. I also think that there are people who don't normally even watch Jon who only show up during his hilariously idiotic games, like when we had over TWO AND A HALF THOUSAND VIEWERS WHEN JON WAS PLAYING FREDDI FUCKING FISH. That was actually HIGHER than when we started, and when it ended, about 250 people actually LEFT, meaning that they ONLY CAME IN to see why the fuck FREDDI FISH was one of the top 20 games on Twitch and stayed until it was over. THIS HAPPENS FREQUENTLY, as you can see by simply looking at Jon's Twitter and seeing all of the retweets he sends when someone points out that CrossworDS (on the DS, obviously) was above Dark Souls in terms of viewer count, for example. To be fair, though Jon has now reached the point that he tends to break top 20 and 2k viewers every single Cookie stream now, when his first break of 2k was a big deal about a year ago. It's just lampshaded so perfectly when you see how the stupid things end up top 20 on Twitch.

Check You can probably point to bigger stuff like the first TRG stream due to the sheer fanart, viewership, and Chugga's descent into madness, however I'd counter with this having basically no expectations or basis to explode like it did

It's still anybodies game... and Jon needs to say that a lot more at future TRG projects... either that or talk about himself in the third person when recording with them.
And guess what? Konami is bringing Bomberman back to its more lighthearted roots in Super Bomberman R for the Switch. A step in the right direction, and probably a way to apologize for ruining Bomberman with Act Zero.
Jon has singlehandedly created the BAZ community, and is the founding member of BAZCO. May we all sing him praise when they return the lifebar feature to Bomberman.
I love watching this game in stream. It's sad I wasn't able to see this one live, but it's always a treat when this comes up on livestream, especially with Jon's commentary and Skitch's amazing voice when he's in the call. The multiplayer on this game looks amazing, and I wish I had the Xbox and game to play with you guys. Had to go with Team MURICA on these matches. I do like to defect to Canada from time to time and betray my country, but if Jewker, Dan, and/or ACFan's playing, I _have_ to vote for them. Jewker practically MADE this game a stream favorite, and Dan and ACFan are so awesome in chat. :D Jon have been the only person ever to make it to Class D as of these rounds...but it's still anyone's game.

I issue a challenge to the streamers: in the next match, create a storyline where A Girlbreast gets breast cancer. Imagine the drama of a vulernable Girlbreast still persisting in their explosive misadventures despite their illness. It needs fleshing out - no pun intended - but we guarantee the gaming world will be shocked, stunned, and moved at the effort to make A Girlbreast's gamertag more meaningful. We love A Girlbreast, but it's about time the stream had a big shock for a change.
I think I know of a way this game could've been saved: at the end, show that the entire game you've been playing is actually a movie being watched--and criticized--by the REAL Bomberman.
Based on what this video has shown, I think a tournament would be intense, entertaining... please do so. Let's give this flickering flame a new ignition. :D

He usually adds in a 4th game of his choice, and recently, Bomberman is added in as a 5th option, but only once per stream. The stream chat then votes for whatever game they want to see him play.
I think I need to call this. Bomberman: Act Zero needs either a remake or a sequel. The core gameplay here is phenomenal, held back only by the wi-fi necessity and lack of saves for single-player. Everyone watching can plainly see just how hectic this game can get. With the necessary fixes, this could become an amazing title to play...
