You do relize the cablemanagment clip is meant to come off in a event where you snag the cable that run thru it. Better that way, instead of pulling your monitor over risking damage.
Nah, it's a deliberate design. It's meant to do that. You won't find one that doesn't pop off if it gets tugged on. It's kind of a well known feature.@@vator_rs

But I often bunch up a ton of cables from my monitor, especially if it's got an USB Hob, so I dont think Id be using that quick release cable management 😂 Right now I got dell with fixed cable managing point, and it works pretty good, so I prefer that.

Update: I have been using the monitor now for a couple months, and I gotta say this thing is such an amazing price to performance purchase for me. I love the different preset modes for gaming and viewing content. The ghosting is very minimal, and the frames come out buttery smooth. The size is awesome for any game I play, maybe with the exception of league of legends just simply because of scrolling across the huge monitor for skillshots. But with fps, racing, rpg, city builders, and essentially anything I play has been a great experience with this. Thanks for the review..really helped me pick the correct monitor.

@@SirAndreas20 most games wont be getting anywhere near 4k 120 on the newer consoles. If you have a 4k60 tv, you are gonna be more than fine with them. For me, I'll have a 1440p 120 monitor that will benefit greatly with the super sampling the ps5 might do

White background on Google you see slight black flickering but it's only if you really pay attention
They just lowered the price of the non-height adjustable version to under $400 now! Right after I bought it at the previous price... lol. Great value for the size/resolution/curves imo, good review.
I got the VQR version of this one. Pretty good monitor. I had Alienware 2720hfa. I returned the alienware due to eyestrain, dizziness and headaches. I usually play Valorant, I am ranked in immo 2. This monitor is pretty good for me. I prefer bigger size screens, so the heads and bodies in the games are bigger as well and it's easier to shoot. Also, due to the low response time, there are no dark smearing, ghosting and motion blur. They are calling the VQR version(2021) -(VQ is 2019), the dethroner of the odyssey of g7. The other thing, they finally took off the ports from the top-side and everything facing to the bottom now. Much better. Overall, very pleased with this monitor.
I know they say 27” is like the sweet spot with pixel density, etc etc. But 32” fits my set up better with my desk mount. The 32” fills the corner region of my desk nicely as opposed to the 27” monitor I used before. I’m not a huge pixel whore, but it looks great to me. I got the AOC 32” 1440/165hz for $330, but I was debating between that and spending the extra $40 for this ASUS TUF one. I thought I would have regertz but I do not.
Are you happy with that size and resolution even for productivity and work? Or do you use it mainly for gaming? Most people complaining are about text sharpness and things like that, which you don’t see during games Thank you. I’m trying to make the decision myself
@@212aeh I am trying to decide between 27 inch and 32inch 1440p monitor for similar usecase. I mainly it for gaming, but I do freelance where I look at a lot of text and graphics. Since 24inch 1080p and 32inch 1440p monitors both have same pixel density (91ppi), if you have or if you can find a 24inch 1080p monitor, you can look at that one and see if image clarity bothers you or not. That way you can tell if you should go with 32, or drop down to 27inch for a bit more sharpness (105ppi)

This is such a professional review. Although, I would have liked to have seen how compatible this monitor is with office productivity, like Word or Excel.
In regards to the cable management, I would much rather have the detachment than have my entire monitor getting pulled down with the cables. I think it's a feature, not an area for improvement. Just my $0.02

ill tell you this. i had a small desk and use 32inch along side a 27inch and the 32 inch always fell off my desk but was nice to haave so if u have the space go 32
I bought an ASUS TUF gaming VG32VQ1B and it's horrible. The ghosting is real and its there. My old flat monitor have less ghosting than this. It's horrible! I have some real fiddling in it, but it doesn't have that many settings. Best i got to remove as most ghosting as possible is racing mode with overdrive 100. I'm returning it when i get the chance.
You really should have done more research....ps5 uses hdmi 2.1 to obtain 4k 120hz. This monitor neither supports 4k or hdmi 2.1. Ps5 does not support 1440p. So you will be hooking a ps5 with a hdmi 2.1 to play downscaled 1080p 60hz. Its going to look like shit. Return it and wait for hdmi 2.1 monitors to release

I have this monitor... Only issue is skyrim special edition gave me screen tera with an rtx xlr8 3070, ryzen 7 3800x and corsair rgb pro white 3200mhz 16GB... Only thing I had to do was go to nivida control panel and change the program settings to have vsync on skyrim only! Not global settings. Global settings I keep vsync off and max performance on power management

Hi, I recently bought this at best buy for my Xbox. I loved most of it except the built-in speakers (kind of weak) Do you recommend any soundbars (if possible) that have a remote so I could listen while I'm laying down?

Man..... I have a bad case of analysis paralysis. I’m not upgrading to next gen this year. Just because there are no HDMI 2.1 monitors that won’t break the bank and are even available this year. With that said, I’m looking to run Xbox One X at 1440p @ 120hz. But can’t come to make he best decision. Thoughts anyone? I’m even looking to go 32” and possibly curved.

Been using this monitor for two weeks now and I can honestly say it’s well worth it. I can’t compare to an HDR 1000 display because I’ve never used one but it’s been great having hdr on so far. To remedy the washed out colors when having HDR on if you have an AMD gpu, go into the Radeon settings->Display->Turn on custom color->Turn off color temp control and that’ll instantly widen the color gamut and make the display more vibrant. it worked for me. 😄
Why does this monitor not have a over clocking option? I'm on Xbox series S btw. Even though I do have a PC? I'm still curious why I don't see a option to over clock this monitor? Can you inform me,or help please?
Yes it's amazing with them! The Xbox Series X can output 1440p at 120hz with this monitor and is a great combination, trust me I'm using this as my monitor to play on the Xbox series x
The menu on this monitor sucks , it’s stuck in racing mode and I can’t get it out , the colour settings are locked and I’m left with a washed out screen when playing on ps5

Hey man, 2 quick question. Will it work with a gaming laptop? And also will it work for any, laptop? Thinking of starting off with a laptop gaming setup, instead of a pc.
If your laptop has display outputs it will work with any monitor, just realize that your laptop might not have the graphics power or thermal capacity to push this monitor to it's 144hz/1440p limits. At that point you'd just be better using your integrated laptop screen and not wasting the money on an expensive monitor.

I picked this up recently. I am very happy about the performance. The frame rate is wonderful and the quality of picture while gaming is awesome.

Upgraded from a 1080p monitor. These are good value for the price. 1440p is great.

I don't like 32" 1440p much, that size is suitable dor 4K. For 1440p, 27" is ideal, higher PPI.
31.5" 1440p has the same PPI as 24" 1080p.
Well I’ve been gaming on a 43 inch 1080p tv for years just got this to go with my ps5 so hopefully this plus the 120hz I should see a huge upgrade, what you guys think?
Seems like this monitor will be my upgrade path. My 2080 is not really being used fully o my 1080p monitor.
Man..... I have a bad case of analysis paralysis. I’m not upgrading to next gen this year. Just because there are no HDMI 2.1 monitors that won’t break the bank and are even available this year. With that said, I’m looking to run Xbox One X at 1440p @ 120hz. But can’t come to make he best decision. Thoughts anyone? I’m even looking to go 32” and possibly curved.
On my xbox one X, this monitor support the 4k resolution but its a 1440p monitor... is that normal ??

@@henrifelipe6079 true, problem is; majority of 4k displays run at 60fps. personally i’d rather go for less resolution but higher frames because i play more multiplayer games where frames are important

It's really an awesome monitor, specially for the price. I found it for 350 bucks in Switzerland a month ago, really lucky.
Been using this monitor for two weeks now and I can honestly say it’s well worth it. I can’t compare to an HDR 1000 display because I’ve never used one but it’s been great having hdr on so far. To remedy the washed out colors when having HDR on if you have an AMD gpu, go into the Radeon settings->Display->Turn on custom color->Turn off color temp control and that’ll instantly widen the color gamut and make the display more vibrant. it worked for me. 😄

Yes it's amazing with them! The Xbox Series X can output 1440p at 120hz with this monitor and is a great combination, trust me I'm using this as my monitor to play on the Xbox series x

The menu on this monitor sucks , it’s stuck in racing mode and I can’t get it out , the colour settings are locked and I’m left with a washed out screen when playing on ps5

@@hartt1 yep. Not good. A solution I’ve found it putting the Overdrive setting on 100 (max). However I will be returning my monitor, it’s quite annoying.

Cuz I got a monitor that was sold to me as 75hz 1080p freesync , but if I turn on the Fresync it changes to 30fps. Bad deal.

I would like to buy this monitor so that I can connect my 2015 Macbook Pro (using HDMI Cable) to it for duel screen purposes. Would this cause inefficiencies in the quality or any flickering on the monitor??
Hey man, 2 quick question. Will it work with a gaming laptop? And also will it work for any, laptop? Thinking of starting off with a laptop gaming setup, instead of a pc.
If your laptop has display outputs it will work with any monitor, just realize that your laptop might not have the graphics power or thermal capacity to push this monitor to it's 144hz/1440p limits. At that point you'd just be better using your integrated laptop screen and not wasting the money on an expensive monitor.

You probably won't notice, and the wow factor of the high refresh rate will make up for it
