I really enjoy your videos. 👍🏼👍🏼 We were unsure about what we were going to do on Bonaire for our cruise coming up in November, but now we know thanks to this video. We only have one concern and that is, what happens if the water taxi breaks down? Maybe take the second to last taxi back just in case? We were on an excursion on St.Lucia where the tour bus broke down and we barely made it back to the ship on time before it left. 😮
The ABC islands are so good for figuring out your own saying. In Curacao, I have friends that paid like $70 for a beach transfer and liqueur tour there through Carnival. I paid $20 for a full City Tour (including the liqueur place) and Beach transfer off the ship

Thankee! No, there are no restaurants, bars, or even restrooms. We make sure to pack a snack and a bottle of water if needed, or buy one from the folks at Caribe. It's truly a deserted island!! :D
Absolutely loved it We took the pirate ship which was awesome, but unless your agile and are able to climb down the side of the ship into a smaller boat, the water taxi would be better option.
Klein Bonaire has been one of our favorite spots to snorkel, and the water taxi makes it super easy indeed!! :D
I wonder if this is still as easy to do this if I make it in October as planned? And what do you do about your valuables when y'all are both in the water?
Our cruise in 2022 included Bonaire again, but it was cancelled due to too many ships in port at the same time. Aruba was put in its place and as we have never been there it’s a spectacular addition.
Oh wow, I didn’t know they would cancel the port of call because of too many ships! We do love Bonaire though!!

We actually cancelled our trip in 2022 due to Covid still being an issue. Our cruise for 2023 does include Bonaire and Aruba! 🤞🤞

Thanks so much! We put our equipment list down in the description of the video, for the curious tech folks, ha ha... Our main land cam is a Canon G7X Mark II which has been really nice for video, though it doesn't support 4K.
Were there any facilities there to use the bathroom or get snacks or drinks? Thanks, we travel with children.
No, Klein Bonaire doesn’t have any facilities that we’ve seen. The boat sells drinks, but that’s about it.
This video was too short! I wanted sooo much more snorkeling! My husband and I will definitely be visiting Klein Bonaire one day!

What do you do with your beach bag etc. while snorkeling here. Is it safe?
We have a large travel safe in our Amazon shop that we use to lock up our valuables... it fits in a backpack, and it can be secured to a chair, tree, anything that's difficult to move! But we've never really felt unsafe with our belongings at Klein Bonaire, but I suppose better safe than sorry!! :P
When visiting via a cruise, do you have to pay the visitor fees for Bonaire or does the cruise line take care of that?
Any fees associated with the port should be included in your cruise fare! You would just the vendor for the boat ride over to Klein Bonaire, in this case. :D
I was wondering... did you guys take your masks, snorkel, and fins or did you rent from the Caribe Taxi? I saw $40 per person to do the round trip taxi which seems great!! Now just wondering if we need to bring our own gear!? We are so excited to do this excursion on our own 🥰

We brought our own equipment, but theirs was super affordable if you didn't want to have to pack any and haul it around. Especially those bulky fins, hah. Their pricing was $20 for the round trip, not $20 per way. Whoop whoop!! :D

I think people pay for excursions to snorkel is because they dont have snorkel equipment and need to use theirs. I went on water taxi and used my own equipment and got in some snorkeling for 25 dollars. Windy and rough seas though.
Are there any bathroom facilities on Klein Bonaire?
Not that we've seen, no.
Both of those ships in port are owned by carnival.
One of them was the Oceania Riviera which I think is a Norwegian property, but I'm not entirely sure...
