    There is a free nice beach with small pier just next to the South Pier where your ship docked. When you walk off the pier on your right. Nice to swim and snorkel

    Thanks guys for this trip down memory lane from our cruise in 2016. Bonaire was delightful. Our friends did the drift snorkel while we did the same highlights van tour in your video, but with Shore Excursions Group. Well worth it. A friendly, pleasant island and we ended up with a bottle of cactus liqueur from Cadushy! A great port day! 👍👍👍

    We used Bonaire Vista Tours in 2017 & their service has always been great! Bonaire shopping and dining is one of our favorite in the Caribbean, especially if you are looking for something outside of your typical D.I. Lots of fun, unique stores with cute items for your home. Hi, loved the vid are you allowed to fish around off the shore or anywhere around the island?

    • @parodeejay
      @parodeejay  3 года назад

      We've never done it, and I've read all sorts of conflicting reports online, but it appears that you can fish from shore as long as you aren't spearfishing. That being said, folks mention time and time again how the fishing isn't ideal from such a rocky shore with so many snorkelers and divers that you might end up hooking, hah... The main resources to look into are apparently the Bonaire National Marine Park, who have published some guidelines here: www.infobonaire.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/BNMP-Dos-donts.pdf

    • @patriciawightman4561
      @patriciawightman4561 3 года назад

      Absolutely not. The entire island is a marine sanctuary. Fishing is for commercial fisherman only who use their catch to support their families. No spearfishing either. If you need to kill go somewhere else please.

    Came across this video as I'm planning my own trip at the end of this year. The ABC islands are a province of Holland (the Dutch). As a native Dutch person I'll help you with the pronounciation of Kralendijk. You say Kralend*ck, it's pronounced as Kralendeik (the "ij" is spoken as "ei" and the "a" as in apple).
    Hope it helps :)
