@@gordonyip9155 yea, believe it or not, we spent over $100 on the metro. Distance based fares is one of the things I dislike and hate about the metro system.
@ next time when you guys come to dc, I would, in this case, look up places near a station or bus stop, calculate the fare going to that place, and weighing the option of considering getting a pass or not. Keep in mind that regional bus systems only accept regional 7 day bus pass.

@@gordonyip9155 it's a tough choice, but I think Toronto is better, way easier to understand and is a lot cheaper.
@ agreed, and to be honest the fare structure in dc is not very tourist friendly, except from places with distance based fares.
